ikr?!?! but, they did have their romantic moments. and they did dance the pas de deux. and fakir did promise to stay with duck forever. and there was also the concept of "agreeing that it is okay for them to be their true selves instead of being led by the story" and although they don't end up together, it's hinted on several occations they have feelings for eachother. or something like that. like fakir has blushed on many occations around duck. such as when she mimned 'i love you' to him. (mytho had done that ealier in the episode, and she was just repeating what he did.) or whenever duck transforms back inot a duck (only when she says 'quack' or the neckless is off of her) the only way she can transform back is when she touches water. only, she often transforms back into a girl naked, making things...kind of akward. but they are last seen with fakir at the docks with a fishing rod, paper, and pen. and duck just below him in her orginal form (a duck) just bobbing up and down.
