Hey, that's a good idea~
Could be a sea charm radiating a magic air, quite similar to a nuclear bomb. It could be like the fallout of discovering the pearl, magic could "infect?" anyone, even those who don't want it.
Might have been under the waves to contain the aura of magic...
If Red ends up getting powers, can she be part of the plot?
