RULES:
This is essentially your standard Fairytale-gone-twisted. Except it's not one, it's all of them.
That's right; every single princess, every single villain, in one arena. In the present. This brings magic and mystery into the modern world.
The story will develop depending on which characters we have. Once we have a few characters, we'll all get a broader understanding on where it's going- because the Villains sure as heck know where they're going in life.[/center]

But here are the rules:

1. No God-modding.
2. Posts must be at least a paragraph long, that is to say, at least four lines.
3. You must choose a Fairytale character of any genre, and add a modern, believable twist to them.
4. You can twist the story in any way. If you play a Prince, you can lose interest in your princess and find another one, if you play a princess, you can do the same- if your dilemma is some kind of medical condition, have at it, if your villain decides to have another life goal, go for it.
5. There are, sadly, no dragons in a modern setting. Any seen shall be regarded as the fond hallucinations of your character. If your character suffers from such a delerium, however, that's quite interesting, and is most certainly allowed.
5. Romance is allowed. Keep it PG.
6. Keep it polite and respectful.
7. Try to make it so that your Fairytale Character is no longer as perfect as they originally were.
Give that prince some smelly feet.
8. Magical powers, if your character already had them, are in fact allowed.

Name: Odile le Cygnes

Title: The Black Swan

Occupation: Dancer, works at a coffee shop in her spare time.
Powers: When trying to seduce somebody, she will take the form of the one they admire most.
Curses: At strange times is forced to shift into a swan. When feeling strong emotion, she will shift- which causes some problems for dancing-, and at midnight, she has no choice at all.

Appearance:
Odile is of a lithe, tall, dancer's frame. Her legs are strong and her arms are wiry, and she walks with trained grace.
Her eyes are dark, violent brown, narrowed into a seductive stare most of the time. Almond shaped, and usually covered with a smoky-eye makeup style.
Her hair is dark brown, with a few ochre streaks. It is usually pinned back into a bun.

Odile's skin is fairly pale, and her makeup is often done in dark, drastic contrasts. Her clothing scheme consists of black, gold and red- and she's prone to dresses or hoodies when she's not dancing.

Odile is a very bold, daring personality. She never hesitates, and never thinks before she leaps. She is all about spontaneous action- she doesn't go with the flow, she makes the flow.
She extremely flirtatious. She will cast a man a wink from across the room, whether she's interested or not. But she is incredibly untrustworthy, and rarely keeps a secret.

Her actions always have some core, inner meaning to them- something dark and volatile, fueled by rage or jealousy. But she is very capable of manipulation. Overall, she is very much a bold and outgoing girl, with a very strong darkness to her.

Pros: Fit, fast, bold, confident, seductive, crafty.
Flaws: Manipulative, untrustworthy, vengeful, jealous and at some times, vicious.
Ambition: To ruin people's lives as a doppleganger. Her very purpose was to usurp people's lives and places through means of seducing their loved ones, and as of such, she will choose a victim, and do everything in her power to ruin their lives.[/code]

What's your character's personality?
Like any other princess, she is kind and sweet. She is good at the violin, piano, and flute, and has a wonderful voice. May be a bit shy. She however takes her work serouisly but gently.
Pros: Music, Singing, Healing, dancing.
Flaws: She is a bit childish, but is still mature. She sometimes is so shy she will not speak, other times she will say her opinion out loud.
Ambition: To be the best she can be.

She has beautiful white hair that streams down from the crown of her head to fall to her waist with the softest waves. Her topaz blue eyes shimmer brightly against her snowy white skin.

Personality:
Vanessa is a very shy individual. It takes a careful touch to let other people into her life and heart, even though she's a famous model and pianist. She can't seem to explain away a dream about her prince charming, that will one day come for her. However, because of her secret, she cannot play until the moon rises, locked inside her room until the day is over. She is terrified that someone will learn her horrible curse of being transformed into a swan at night. She's always quick to help people who need it, though her body guards insist that she endangers herself by doing more than nessacary. She has built a stage with a faux glass bottom so the moonlight will allow her to change form before the curtain rises. She declines, with great sorrow, to go anywhere else with her music, because of her curse.

Pros: Works hard, being an actress/Pianist, Is helpful even beyond the call, sweet and kind like a princess should be, almost to a flaw.
Flaws: Overly shy, she is afraid of people in general because of the curse on her.
Ambition: To be the greatest Pianist, and to meet her prince charming.

Appearance: Eric has short, dark brown hair (almost black) with bangs he tends to gell to the side and dark down eyes lines with thick, expressive eyebrows. His build is is broad-shouldered and muscular but at the same time sleek and clean. Eric has medium skin, but tends to tan very easily.

Pros: Eric is a good leader and everything a CEO--or prince--should be when at work. He's very charismatic when it comes to closing business deals and an all-around civilized person. However, he has this strange sense of adventure in him he can't quite explain. Eric is an excellent dancer and swordsman and can be very charming (when he wants to be).

Flaws: Despite being a business man, when it comes to social skills other than work, Eric scores a zero. He's not very good with communicating and tends to brush people off. Eric can even be a little rude at times. He particularly does not like women and tries to avoid them the best he can. He also has the huge thing about rats---he doesn't like them at all.

Ambition: Eric just wants to live his life and continue to be successful. However, he can't help feeling there's something missing in his life....

Belle is a somewhat anti-social girl. She stays alone in her library and helps her father whenever can. She is usually glued to her books and whenever someone tries to talk to her she just keeps her nose in her book.

She is hopeless romantic person and always dreams of the day when someone swoops her away. She always wants her life to be like a book and one of the princes that one day will come on a white horse and have her prince charming.

She is also stubborn but kind in some ways. She always spends her time in a meadow or in her most favored place, the library. She has a wonderful singing voice but too shy to show her voice.

Pros: Sings well, Kind, and intelligent
Flaws: Stubborn, Always has her nose in a book, and worries about her father a lot.
Ambition: To become a well known singer and find her prince charming.

A bit spiteful and hates humans. The first time she went to shore she was kidnapped and forced to be oggled at. She used to be kind, it still is there.
Pros: Still kind at heart, focused, determined, has great survival instincts
Flaws: Spiteful of humans, doesn't trust, doesn't enjoy speaking, doesn't think things through.
Ambition: To escape back to the sea and seek her revenge on the humans

Adrienne is a very kind soul- who is always looking to learn and discover things. She's almost always smiling, and works hard at the things she does- though she does occasionally space out from time to time. She is full of curiosity and has no choice but to embrace this factor- for, she is alice, after all. Throughout her life she has been decribed as "Curiouser, and curiouser.."- which she doesn't seem to mind. Adrienne enjoys images of the peculiar, the imaginary- and even the slightly insane.

Pros: Adrienne has great deduction skills,She is creative and quick on her feet, and has great artistic skills.
Flaws: She has horrible curiosity, doesn't usually think things through, and gives herself good advice- but, very seldom follows it- which usually casts her into trouble. She also isn't particularly attentive.
Ambition: To discover or create something truly amazing- something whimsical...much like a wonderland.
