Mining Woes

(Sorry, I got bored.)

Oh! I found something! Red thought, examining the shining red rock in the wall.

With a cheerful jump, she plucked it from it's place in the wall, a hollow hole in it's place.
As she turned to walk away, she heard a low sound of rock sliding. She turned her head to investigate, but as it got louder, she walked over to see what it was.

Just as she got to the wall, the criminal rock tumbled out from somewhere, and in a few seconds, a large shower of rocks came falling.
Red gasped. the shift had caused part of the top to fall down as well.
As Red turned to run away, a large rock tumbled down from the top and with great force, hit the side of Red's head.
Everything immediately faded to black, as she fell to the floor with a yell.

(No, she's not dead. Now go help Red! Hey, that rhymes.)

*Walks in the mine and gasps* "Oh no red!" *runs over to red and picks her up in arms* "Silly girl you should know better than to take a jewel out of a wall." *heals red's head*

There was a distant buzz of a noise, sounding somewhat like a voice she couldn't identify. Her head didn't hurt so much, but she was still grasping onto consiousness by a thread.
She felt dizzy and weak, and no matter how much she willed her eyes to open they wouldn't.

She sharply inhaled as the pain eased back to her head. Numbness crawled into her leg.

"C'mon snap to it!" *Continues to heal her*

Red once again felt the pain ebbing away. With a sigh, the pain left her head. Although her limbs were still weak, and her leg still numb, she felt no more pain.
I don't need to stay awake anymore, do I...? Red thought, knowing she had no more pain to run from. With a long sigh, she let herself drift into a dreary unconsiousness.

(You healed her, by the way. She's just... Unconsious now. 8D)

*Is anoyyed* "Great now she's unconcious!" *Begains to awaken her* (By the way this is not the same kind of healing she used for jay it's a weaker kinda magic)

For a while, Red had no way of telling the time, seening where she was, or anything else at all.
A dim light searched through the darkness of her unconsious mind. She reached for it, but it seemed to distant. She knew it was the way back to consiousness, but she couldn't reach for it yet.

By now, her limbs couldn't respond at all. She couldn't feel her arms or legs, or anything else. From the lack of movement, her temperature was starting to drop. She started shivering, her breath coming in long but shallow to allow any heat at all to remain in her body. Not that it worked.


(Sure thing~ I'll try to attone her state with the strength of your healing.)

kazumi came running in. "red!!!' she called in alarm

In the darkness of her unconsious sleep, she heard another distant voice. Not the same as before, but slightly softer. From that, she recognized that she was starting to get oblivious to the consious world.


(STILL NOT DEAD. Don't worry, she won't die no matter what.)

"Kazume, red was an idiot and pulled a jewel out of the wall, and now you're up to speed!"

All Red heard during Ciera's speech was a faint voicing of her own name, and a horrible feeling come over her.
Why had she done something so stupid as to pull a jem out of a wall? Was it fatigue that faded her sense? After all, she had been mining for hours.

kazumi shook her head and sighed. she put her hands over red and healed her.

"C'mon red wake up!"

*poofs in*
"Who was screaming???"
Fox feels around, unrecognizing the place
"Where am I?"

In the darkness again, Red felt the cacophony of voices bring her to a somewhat consious state.
Her eyes fluttered open, for a minute struggling with the light and the blurry smokescreen that sleep alwats left. She blinked it away.
"Mhmmm... Woah, when did you guys get here?" Red murmured, her voice as strong as her tired body would let it become.

"After We heard you yell" She murmures

"yeah i better go home before i get hit in the stomach see ya!" *walks out*

"Huh? Wha-..." Red stuttered as Ciera walked out the door. Her mind was heavy with the effects of unconsiousness, so she wasn't quick to talk at the moment.
"Well... At least I'm alive!" Red forced a weak laugh. "Urf... Sorry I caused so much trouble..." She murmured, her gaze falling sadly down to the rocks on the ground.
