Relaxing at the beach

Joe lies down on the sand, as he stares at the sky
The sky was vast, and it was relaxing as he heard the ocean waves
He hasn't felt relaxed for a while, so he tries to make this moment last
He starts stroking the sand.

Suddenly, he drifts asleep........

*Kitty walks to the beach. It was quiet here; she just wanted to get away from it all for a while. Whe gracefully walked on the beach, but then tripped on the sand. She fell and hit the ground. She then spat out sand that got in her mouth.*
Berk.

Jake wakes up and jumps in shock
He gets up and blinks
"Kitty..are you okay?!?"
*rushes over and helps her up*

Yeah. I didn't know you were here.
*giggles*
I'm really clumsy. Thank you.
*dusts sand off of shirt.*

He laughs
"Yeah..I just thought I'd... relax...I haven't done so in a very long time"

"What are you doing here?" he asks

I came to relax too.
It's been so crazy, I just needed to pretend I was someone else and watch the waves.

"ahh..yes..it's been very..strange...lately"
"Everyone's either moving, getting hurt, dying...." He drowned on and on

Yeah, it could be my old world though...
Magic just adds to the drama...
Sometimes I hate that I have it.

"Huh..Isn't there like a spell or potion to make you.............un-magical?"

Not when you are part elf...
*sighs*
Sometimes I ask why I was born this way...

"Elf? What do you mean 'elf'?"

*Pulls back hair and reveals two pointy ears.*
I tried to keep it secret at first, but I couldn't hid my ears forever.

Jake shakes his head at first, thinking it was in illusion
"Well..what does being an elf have to affect anythign? And-"
He suddenly shuts himself up, not wanting to be annoying

You're not annoying, just human nature.
I have a magic gland in my brain. True magical being's glands are too close to critical points of the brain and can't be removed....

Jake had no idea what Kitty was saying, but he didn't care.
He lie back down,on his side, letting the sun warm his face

*Kitty sat and let the sun hit her face.*
I know you don't understand or care, but I don't care that you care or not. I didn't read your mind this time. Your actions said it all.

"Yeah" He shrugged
"Life would be a whole lot easier if i were magical.." He murmured

It's more of a burden.

"Why is that?"

"kitty!~" a familier musical voice sang. "i've been lookin' all over for you~"

*ciera was walking down the beach holding jenna in her arms, she looked over and noticed kitty and jake* "Oh hey kitty!" *smiles ignoring jake completley*

Hi.......
*Whispers to Jake* I'll tell you later...

"What's up?"

"alright" he whispers back

Jake sighs. He goes to the dressing room and changes into his trunks
He walks into the water and starts swimming

I just need to rest some. I haven't been able to sleep at night so I came here to see if I could take a nap. Then I bumped into Jake.
