How to raise heart event?

I only saw gray heart events for all boys in Harvest Moon ds Cute. and it's so hard to raise heart colors. I have almost 1 year passed and I can't get anyone to purple heart. I always give them gifts they like. Is my game broken or bugged?

nope. it's just the way of the game, since the mineral town guys only show up once a week, they only show up about 16 times in the year, so, if you only give your guy 300 LP gifts, it's going to take you about 12 and a half game years. if you give your mineral town guy 500 LP gifts, it's going to take you 7 and a half years, but if you're able to give you're mineral town guy their faborite item, worth 800 LP, then it's going to take only about 4 and 3/4s game years.

Yes, Aren is right but if you want the Forget-me-not valley boys i suggest you pick 1 guy and work on him. not just all of them.

if u want a for-get-me-not guy, how namy items do u have to give them before a purple heart event? and how do u know when their ready for it?

it depends. for 300 LP gifts, you need to give them the gift 34. for 500 LP gifts, you need to give them 20. and for 800 LP gifts, you need to give them 17.

I still have problms like I give rock berrys almost every dayand more but after2 years of playing in the game, still gray heart. I think my game is bugged.

huh, well, i'm at a loss, it really should've taken you 2 years to change his heart. may i suggest giving him something else? maybe it'll change.

Go to the ecavation site and use your hoe to find neckalce, brooch, earrings, bracelet and give 1 of those to rock everyday. its +500 Lp
and if you can make Cheese fondue for him (Cheese,Bread + Pot = Cheese fondue) Its +800 LP

how do u unlock the mines?

you need to have your hammer in your rucksack and you just enter the mines. carter will come in and ask you to unlock the first mine, then, when you reach the bottom of it (10 floor), come back, and he'll ask you to unlock the 2nd mine (255 floors) keep up this process and you can unlock the 3rd mine (999 floors) and the 4th mine (it's something like 65,552, the number is really random)

When I tried to unlock the mines it didn't work when I had an accessory equipped and I had to go inside the tent and talk to Carter before going inside the mine for the unlock scene to happen. So if it doesn't work for you try that ^^

You dont need to talk to Carter before unlocking the event. All you need to do is either get up and run straight the to mine or go into the mines after 9:00PM

or before 8AM, cuz i was able to unlock it around 7AM before.

really? I don't know, but for me it only goes to the unlock event if I talk to him first

certain things you give them raise their love points a certain amount. try giving them items everyday that is worth 800 or 500 lp and it wont take as long. if it is a guy from mfomt or fomt then it will take awhile. Also, you can only give one gift a day to raise their lp. if you give them more then one gift in one day, it will only raise up their friend point, not their love points. if you throw things like weeds and stones on the ground, it is 'littering' and takes a couple of love points away. if an animal dies it takes a couple of thousands of love points away, so don't do that either. good luck!

the trick there is a place and time for that...

your game's not broken, just choose 1 of mineral town boys and focus on giving him the gifts that way, you don't have to find every mineral town guy to give your gifts.
just choose the one you really like, and focus on him.

but in my case i raise all boys in red in one year..

just keep giving them their favorite items..
talk to them everyday...
know their schedule...

that's what i did...
