omg. i loved the anime. it made me cry at the ending T^T it was so beautiful. what's even better: the english dubb is coming out this spring (first season) and summer! (second season) i'm so pysced. i've never actually read the book though >.> and i love the theme song "you raise me up" idk who the orginal singer of the song was, but i know it wasn't orginaly japenese 0.0 i rember we sang that song for 5th grade graduation. ahh yes, 5th grade. good times. good times.

yes, yes u do. hoave you ever watched the anime gothic? i highly reccomend it. i have a link in case anyone wants to watch all 24 (0r 26) episodes. i can't rember how many there are.......

This doesn't really have a whole lot to do with the anime, but I'm going to say it anyways because it's relative to Romeo and Juliet, and because I'm just that cool. >8D

I love it when people compare things that they find really romantic to Romeo and Juliet, like the Twilight series, for example. "Oh, so romantic, forbidden love, blahblahblah." It's a little-known fact that Romeo and Juliet was written as a MOCKERY of young love, and how kids will KILL THEMSELVES for one another. Billy Shakes was a pretty clever guy, but not many people are willing to look past the "forbidden love SPARKLES!" part of the story to get to the actual point...kids are stupid. They'll defy their families, do stupid things (including SUICIDE--dunno how anybody could find suicide romantic), all for the sake of "love," which probably won't last in the end.
