IC Chat Guidelines

How it works:


Each member may make a thread for each of his or her own characters. That thread will be that character's personal chat accounts.

Example:

Zoebair - Zoe's Chat account.

Virgo24 - Taylor's Chat account.

Each member may create a username for their character to distinguish in the chat. You can be as creative as you'd like here.

If you want to have a private conversation with one character, reply to their personal chat account thread.

Unless you have two conversations going on in one thread, you don't have to address the person directly. If you are talking to more than one person at a time, it's a good idea.

There are also going to be four Chat Rooms - Chat Room A, Chat Room B, Chat Room C, and Chat Room D. These are group chats, and anyone can join in on them.

You can also make an exclusive chat room for two people only. You can make a thread with the topic title: "[Name 1] and [Name 2]'s Chat Room." But only if you think you are going to be talking a lot. Try addressing the character on his or her own thread first before making your own room.

Buddy List Key:
How you feel about the people you're talking to. If they send you hateful messages, block them. If you love them, put them in your "lovers" group. Etc. etc.

How to Chat

In the person you wish to talk to's thread, reply using a template resembling this one:

How to Personalize Your Chat Account
You may add several small images to your chat thread.
Also, you may add fields like:
