Arriving in Sunshine Island

kazu frowned. "yes it is reather warm..." she said. she put her hand to her forehead. she hadn't been feeling well lately.

Genna noticed amy leave.
"Amy, wait!" genna shouted.
She saw kazumi's face.
"Kazumi, I just didn't see katherine in a long time and i'm worried about her." genna said.
"yup a hot day agin. it's not supposed to be hot yet." genna said again.

"i've pretty much faded into the background there's no reason to stay." *shrugs*

"be safe amy!' kazumi sighed. "so anyway, wlecome!" kazumi said turning back to the new person. "your name is ryan, is that correct?"

"Ah, I see *shrugs*" genna said to amy.
Genna looked at kyle.
"yup, Kyle is day dreaming." genna said in her mind.
"it's supposed to be the rainy month actually. not hot." genna said.

Kyle wasn't daydreaming, although he seemed like he was. Instead he was actually listening becoming distant from them. While they were talking he actually scooted away and was sitting down in the sand legs out watching the waves moving back and forth.

genna saw a fin out in the ocean.
"Eh, probably just a dolphin or somthing like that." genna said in her mind.
"Look! A fin!" Genna blurted out.
She totally thought it was a dolphin.

Arden was still on the ground, after being knocked down by Kazu. She stood up, swatted Kazumi playfully on the head, and grinned. "That hurt, you little bugger," she said.

She waved goodbye to Amy, and, as she did, she saw Kyle sitting by himself on the sand, far away from the ocean. She turned her head long enough to throw a smile at Ryan, and then she turned back around and walked over to Kyle. She sat down next to him and followed his stare out to the ocean, not saying anything.

Ryan tossed a confused look over at his spacey brother. "Typical," he grinned, not bothering to lower his voice. He rolled his eyes at Kyle and then turned back to the girls. "Yeah, I'm Ryan," he said in response to Kazumi's question. He ran his slender fingers through his long blonde hair. Sweat was still gathering at his hair line, and he swiped at his forehead with his arm.

In the corner of his eye he saw Arden walking over. He scooted over a bit. As she sat down he scooted over just a fraction of an inch trying to make sure she didn't notice. There was an rather long silence. He opened his mouth to say something but quickly shut it. Kyle turned his head and stared at Arden.

"nice to meet you." kazu said giggling. "it's always great to meet someone new." "i hope we get to be friends~" "oh my, look at the time, i best be goin now!" "see you guys!" kazu ran off.

Arden smiled, but tried to conceal it. She felt nervous, sitting so close to Kyle, but she didn't really know why. "You seem uncomfortable," she said, nodding her head at Ryan, who was now about fifteen feet away from them. She turned her head and met his eyes. "Everything okay?"

"Very nice to meet you, Ryan" Genna said. "I hope we can become friends too."
genna looked at Kazumi.
"Bye Kazumi" Genna said.
Genna went towards the water and sat down.

Ryan grinned at Genna. "Yeah, sure," he said, nodding his head. That motion sent several locks of hair fall in his eyes, and he flicked them out of the way impatiently.

Note to self: get a haircut.

He looked over at Kyle and Arden, and waggled his eyebrows at Kyle. "Hey. Bro. Are you going to sit there mooning for the rest of the day, or are you going to help me get settled?" He chuckled, like he was laughing at an inside joke, and then picked up his bags.

Arden tossed a small, lingering look at Kyle out of the corner of her eye, and then stood up. She brushed fine white grains of sand off of her pants, and then walked back over to Ryan. "Here, I'll help," she said, reaching her hand towards the leather handle of the nearest suitcase. She leaned down, picked it up easily, and her eyes widened at the sheer weightlessness of the bag.

"Do you even have anything in here, or is this just empty?" she asked teasingly, lightly bouncing the suitcase in her hand. It hardly weighed anything at all.
