Arden slipped in through the front door, shivering. It was chilly outside, but she had dressed rather lightly, which was rather ignorant on her part. She looked around at the interior of the General Store, which she had only entered to escape the weather. She hadn't really given the store a second thought before; it simply never caught her attention. Now that she was inside, though, she noticed the little odds and ends lying on shelves and countertops, and her interest piqued.
She walked up to a row of the smaller, cheaper items and picked up a small trinket. She fingered the item for a minute, and then put it down. As she settled it back on the shelf, she noticed a boy, who was also examining the merchandise. "Hello," she said, trying to be friendly.
