One might think this is bliss, no danger, perfect, gorgeous islands...
However, the most threatening creatures of Earth still roam.
Humans.

This power, this evolution brought corruption to the world, and those who can fight for justice and wellfare or domination and triumph.
The Heroes and the Villains.

This world, or what's left of it, is up against the iniquity.

Summary

This Roleplay is basically a classic- Good Guys vs Bad Guys.
Seeing as we've got animals and nature out of the way, the only problem in your way is either the Good Guys, the Bad Guys, or the battles that take place between them.

You can either play as a Good Guy (Hero), a Bad Guy (Villain), or just a civillian. We may not need Civillians, you don't have to take the role of them. However, it's very important we maintain a balance of Heroes and Villains, and if there's a surplus of either of the two, I may have to cap one team and stock up the other.

Fight, or run for dear life.
That's how it works.

Guide to Heroes and Villains

While plotting your character, you must chose a side.
No, you can't bat for both teams, pick one and be done with it.

Heroes

Heroes- your classics! These are your Costumed Heroes, with a secret identity and everything. They have to keep on their toes and keep their real identities a secret, lest the Villains come after them or track them down, which can often result in serious damage. They have Aliases, strengths and weaknesses.

Heroes, obviously, oppose Villains, and have quite a different fighting style. In comparison to the Villain's sly style of fighting, Heroes are very straight on in their technique, often hunting down an opposition in a Search & Destroy mission.

These people are far more honourable, reliable and more founded on Justice than any others. Their aims are often very selfless.

Villains

Villains, every Hero has an arch enemy. These are your classic Bad Guys, again with a secret identity and all. They don't so much have to keep their real identities secret from the Heroes as much as they do from Police and other Authorities, as the Justice System can provide as quite a thorn in the side. They too have Aliases, strengths and weaknesses.

Villains, obviously oppose Heroes, and have quite a different fighting style.
In comparison to the Hero's honourable style of fighting, Villains will often send swarms of henchmen or drones to take a city or weaken an opponent before really walking in themselves.

These people are sly, sadistic and often very crafty and manipulative. Though they mostly work for themselves, it's not rare to see two different Villain's pair up in an allegiance.

Civillians

Your average, run of the mill John Smith.


IMPORTANT!

Because this is your classic Good Guy vs Bad Guy battle, I'll allow a little bit of 'Magic', but don't go over the top. These are regular humans, just a little corrupt or brave. Your character may have some power or special ability to a small extent, example...

The ability to read thoughts,
Super-keen hearing/eyesight/et...

However, please do keep these things reasonable. Some characters may rely more on physical movement/combat than these magics, which is actually quite fun, some even relying on pure intelligence to create their way through.

Villain Alias: Steampunk
Personality:
Priss is a rather intelligent girl, and devotes her talent to machinery and mathematics. She takes pride in her creations and tries to use them as much as possible.
Besides this, Priss is actually quite two-faced, sour and horrible when she doesn't get what she want, but happy and cheery when things go her way.
Not humble in the slightest bit.

Power(?): Priss doesn't have any 'Power' to be exact, but she's well studied in mathematics, machinery, all the like. She tends to use this intellect to create armour and weapons, along with robots and drones.
She's not hesitant to show this off.
Villain Fighting Technique:
Priss doesn't particularly fight, she lets her drones do it for her. She'll quickly mass produce an army to fling like stones at an opponent or city, but when that fails, she'll let a large gun do the talking.

History/Bio:
Priss went speedily through her schooling- she'd grown fond of tinkering with robots and machinery when she was just a little girl, and they became her passion over the years.
They had uses for her creations, uses for her mind, but there was one thing wrong.
They were all so boring. So dull!
So she placed her hopes into being a Hero, helping the world with all her creations.
She did, at one stage, talk to her favourite Hero, at around the age of 17, only to be told they had no use for her.

Let down, she quickly got angry. Really angry.
For months, she stormed around. That is, until she realised.
Why not use her smarts as a villain?

Make no mistake about Damon- he is not someone you'd like to be on the bad side of. There is no sympathy or compassion to be found in him; he is cold-blooded and only looking out for himself. He is a very serious young man, but he has a temper. He isn't so smart as he is cunning; he uses mind tricks and illusions to attack and escape.

Power(?): Damon doesn't have any physical superpower, and isn't very strong in muscle or physique. What he does have, however, is the power to play with the minds of others. It's only a brief attack - he confuses his victims for a few seconds - but it's usually enough. When they are under his spell, peoples' personalities flip-flop- they are prone to becoming completely carnal and vicious.

Villain Fighting Technique:
Usually from a distance, Damon has to concentrate to affect his victims. This is his true moment of weakness: he isn't aware of his surroundings, or of any danger. However, once he's hacked into another's mind, he is powerful. More often than not, Damon uses his technique offensively, but sometimes he uses it to get away, as well. After using his power, he is weakened.

History/Bio:
Damon is an orphan.

His parents died in a strange accident when he was merely a child, and none of his family members would dare take him in. So he was sent to an orphanage, where he never found comfort or solace in the company of the other children with the same fate as he. In fact, he was an outcast. He was picked on and teased because even from an early age, he was different. This continued well on into his teenage years, at which point his power began to develop. He didn't think much of it at first, until one day, when the resident bully began to taunt him again. That was the first time Damon was ever provoked enough to use his power, and it got him kicked out of the orphanage, onto the streets, where he lived, anger and resentment building inside of him till something just...snapped.

History/Bio:
Kaden is a genetic mutation that bio science was proud of at first, untill she busted away from the research center and became a bounty hunter. Her superior genetic information makes her hard to catch and also gave her a way to support herself in a time of fighting. She is viewed as a villian, but to herself she is just someone using the fighting as a way to make a profit like many people in history have done before. She doesn't care about people and will often lie to people she is going to kill, so she can get as much money from them as possible. Her only happiness is money and wealth.

Wess's dad is a cop, which means he has to be a good boy or else. Finding his powers was an accident, he was about to get in a fight, and as the opposition through the first punch, Wess stopped him with his psychic powers. Raising a hand, Wess made him levitate, and then threw him. Later, Wess tried it again, to find he could still use it. He currently fights for good, or at least until his dad disappears.

She can use her powers within the distance or way up in the sky. Although she can move anything (except nature) with her mind for ex. A piano and land the piano on the villain. Although its not killing them of course.


History/Bio: Mariah was very poor during her childhood. Although she never knew her parents were physcic until she was 13. Although in her childhood she was very caring to her neighbors and nature. She never really had friends. Only with nature. So she never hurts nature because it's like a gift to her. When she was 13-15 she always looked for trouble that she can stop.

By the way, you may want to hold off invading the Hideouts of Kaden and Priss for now, simply because it's a lil early in the RP. After all, it's, what, page three?
We might establish some more rivalry, because there's only really been the mini-battle between Kaden, Wess and Priss. ;D

On Arch Nemesises:
If anybody wants to select an Arch Nemesis right here, tell me.
It's role is a given, an Arch Nemesis to every Hero and Villain, a sworn enemy...
If anybody has anyone in mind already, go right ahead and ask.

We seem to be a little lacking in the Villains department now, so I'll see if I can get a few more people into the RP.
