You are a great person for admiting that.
*Kitty looked at the ocean, the wind gently pushing her hair.*
Some people always blame others for their problems, but what you feel is very mature. You can always try to avoid the feelings by putting them on someone else, yet you embrace them. It is the best way a person can live. Just don't keep your feelings bottled up. You start to feel alone and it is the worst place to be.

Arden sat there quietly, not entirely sure how to respond. She had always been the twin that was more in tune with her feelings, but before coming to the small town, she had never been able to admit them. Living here, in the clean and positive atmosphere, amongst friends, was liberating.

"Thanks, Kitty," she whispered gratefully.

It's no problem at all. Sometimes you just need a hand dealing with these fears.
*Kitty walked over to Arden and held out a hand.*

Arden smiled and accepted Kitty's hand.

*Kitty gently leads Arden into the water so that their feet are cover.*
Sometimes it's good to not jump into things, but take one step at a time, watching where your foot lands.

Arden bit back a whimper as a wave crashed over her torso. She attempted a smile.

It's okay to take a step back. Just remember, I am always going to be here to help you. Just don't lie about your feelings, cause that is what will give you trouble.

"It's definitely a challenge for me..." Arden murmured, the fake smile disappearing from her face.

That's good. You aren't lying to the world anymore.
*Kitty looked up at the sky.*
Sometimes it is easier to pretend you aren't in water.
*Kitty wiggled her feet under the sand. I wave splashed her along the waist, but she still held Arden's hand.*
But then again, you are just lying to yourself.

Arden winced as the wave hit her stomach with a smack, but she didn't say anything about it. "How'd you get to be so smart?" she murmured, feeling the wave pull past her feet.

Techinally, I'm 61 years old. On this planet, I'm only 21.
I've had a lot of time to learn things, because of this.

"Oh. Well, that explains a lot," Arden said with a smile.

It does? I never thought it did. I'm considered young in that world too. My dad was 115 when I was born.

*just walks toward beach and flops on sand* "i guess it's time, jay's probably home bt now i'll go back wait for him to sleep and go."

Okay. He may want to see you though.

"how on earth would i explain it kitty, he'd never understand."

At least he'd know. It's hard to live in the world without knowing.

"tell me about it, i don't understand him sometimes it makes me question our relationship even, i don't like that part."

Arden walked back out of the ocean. She wasn't as scared of it anymore; she just wasn't used to the feeling of being nearly weightless in the powerful tides of the water. She sat next to Ciera and wrapped her arms around her.

"i'll miss you arden."

"Where are you going?"

"i'm not sure, i'll i know is that i can never return my dad would kill jay and jenna i can't let that happen, maybe i can drop a letter or two to everyone but that's it."

Can't you change your image? Make it look like you are someone else?

"he'd know he can sense me."

"I-I don't understand." Is everyone on this island magic? I don't know anybody here that's 100% human... Arden got confused easily; she had no idea what to make of any of the magic drama. So she just frowned.
