| Changed: I will just leave it as a humourous rp with detectives, lawyers and our own self made characters. The words we will need to use to keep the Ace Attorney theme is to look at evidence, object, see if witnesses are lying or not. Just solve a case.  Words we need to use : Objection! (if you object with evidence, or words OR the prove something.) TAKE THAT (when throwing evidence at someone) HOLD IT when you need to interupt a witness or someone when you need to ask them to explain something.) That's ALL! less complications! Th
>OLD STUFF BELOW! NO NEED TO READ except scroll down to Sign Ups!<Title will change. Come up with a title for our RP. I can't decide or think. Since we're doing one like the game's engine as much as possible that won't ruin an RP, we're not using any of the canon (original) characters so people who don't play it can still join. It's all in spoilers cuz it's long. Titles I have in mind:None
Reminder how things will work.- Spoiler:
Turnabout: Basically "a case or chapter". Evidence: Kept in Court Record. I will update that. Witnesses are allowed to make lies to cover up something. Court: the lawyers will be doing most of the talking here. They can use the word "OBJECTION, HOLD IT, TAKE THAT." which I will explain. Investigation: After or before court. You can visit anywhere to find evidence, and try to find what you need.
Places- (PLEASE name and date the places every time you "move about" for organization. Example: Date: March 22nd Time:10:00 AM Location:District Courtroom Defense Lobby Room 2) - Spoiler:
Court :
- Defense Lobby: Where you meet your clients, talk, get ready before court
- Prosecution Lobby: Where you get your witnesses ready, talk, get ready before court
- Courtroom: Court Begins.
Attorney's Office: Your Last Name's Office
Prosecutor's Office: Your Last Name's Office
Detention Center: Your "accused" client, and other people behind bars. Get clues here possibly if they cooperate.
Police Department: Detectives and police gather here, holding onto evidence, getting those autospy reports.
Other Places: Will be written for each turnabout. You can only go to those places for neatness.
During Court: in a nutshell- Spoiler:
Beginning
-Judge will ask if the prosecution or defense is ready. They will speak
-Prosecution explains what the case is about, whatever to his/her advantage.
-Prosecution calls his witnesses
Witness Testimony
-Gives it (lies only if she/he has something to cover up
-IN our RP only, give it in short 4 to 5 sections. This is part of the game engine.
-Example
I went to the store at 10:30pm
I wasn't paying attention to anyone, just helping myself
I left the store at 10:45 with my goods, and left
I did notice that person, your client, who sped past in a red car
She did it, I know it!
Cross Examination (prosecution, judge and whoever can speak can react to things here)
-Defense cross examines. He will read each part of his/her testimony
HOLD IT is used to gather more information. You can ask questions on the example section above.
OBJECTION is used when you find evidence that "contradicts" the statement given by the witness or the person in the chair. Also you can use OBJECTION to argue with the prosecutor/defense.
TAKE THAT is also used to present evidence
Short Short Example written in script form. We will not be using scripts. I wrote it like this for an example- Spoiler:
Location: District Courtroom 4, Time: 10:30 pm.
Judge: We now begin on "blah blah". Is the prosecution ready?
Prosection: insert text
Judge: Is the Defense ready?
Defense: insert text
Prosecution: explains the case, calls witness, then asks her to introduce herself
Witness: Introduction
Prosecution: Asks her to explain "whatever in his favor"
Witness: I went to the store at 10:30pm

Judge: Okay "insert text" please cross - examine.
Defense: Thinks, decides to get more information. HOLD IT! You said you saw my client, speeding past in a red car?
Witness: Yes, it was her, it was the same person wearing those two pigtails, looking angry in the red car.
Defense: Looks at the court record (evidence) and sees a contradiction. It is a picture taken at the store's security camera with her not with pigtails, but with long flowing hair. This is the picture he was given when he went to investigate that store.
Defense: OBJECTION! You are lying!
Witness: No I'm not, it's the girl with two pigtails
Prosecutor: I see no problems if their appearance matches.
Defense: Look at this picture judge, this is the blurry picture of a female with loose hair, driving away in the car.
Everyone: ARGH dang it!
Witness: but...but
Defense: What have you gotten to say to yourself. Tell the TRUTH!
Witness: but, I only said it because...
Defense: So clearly you haven't seen the scene of the crime. We can dismiss her testimony and not have it used against my client.
Witness: WAIT! I was there...only I
Defense: Why did you say that?
Witness: because...
(speeding forward)
Defense: I found out, this evidence shows you why you were truly at the store, hiding the shame that you were buying a TEEN magazine!
WItness: ...shock* Yes that's the reason why I lied about seeing the one accused, because I was really reading a teen magazine even if I am a 40 YEAR old man! *cries. >_>
Defense: So this testimony does not show that my client as at teh scene of the crime
Prosecutor: Is that all you got? I have clear evidence, even without this witness, to prove your client guilty.
And so it goes. That's the best way I can explain court. Reminder that you can only use your own evidence and you cannot sneak peek at your enemy's court record. You can as a member, but not as a RP character. Sign Ups:- Spoiler:

Comedy Purposes: You can have fun with the other people's personalities or slip up on purpose based on your personality.  Whoa? So structured?: Well I hope to keep it this way and I actually don't know how it will turn out. I will be structuring out the first Turnabout to get people started and into the groove. I may have to plan out the cases and then give some people a role secretly later but I won't know how the future will be told yet.  Too much like the game engine? That is the things I wanted to do. That is the point and how it'll be like we'll have to see.

The judge almost does nothing in any case. But now I need a prosecutor. If no prosecutor signs up by the time court begins, I'll take the place of the prosecutor. There are 2, but it can alternate between cases if the other one wants to, or decides to post. Some people can work together. In the rp, whoever jumps in first can claim the first rookie case! I'm sorry I wasn't on. School is killin meh. I made it confusing. Not what I expected me to do! Hahaha. I wrote in the first post that I'll make it easier because not everyone plays this game, so you can be creative in how it plays out! The time right? Sure!
