Cartwheels & Whirligigs (Open)

Kyle wondered how hard it would be to climb up to the top of the circus tent. Considering that it was made of thin fabric that flapped every time a breeze tore through the valley, it would probably be hard. And dangerous. So instead of scaling it, he ducked inside. It was kind of stuffy inside the big top, but he ignored this as he took a seat in a small plastic stool-like chair. He watched with some interest as a performer in a sequined uniform appeared in a ring. She was gesturing grandly to the audience of one.

Arden ran a hand through her hair and sighed. She liked the circus okay - it was quieter here than it was in other towns, anyways. And it was here all the time. She pushed aside the flap that was supposed to act as a door, and stepped inside. The dirt floor was pressed down from numerous footprints trampling through the entrance and towards the seats. She followed the trail to the row of seats closest to the ring, and was about to sit down when she saw a familiar figure sitting in the tent, as well. She looked up as a circus entertainer came out to the center and started talking and waving her arms, and took that as her cue to sit down.

Hurriedly, she slid down the row of seats and sat down next to Kyle. "Long time, no see," she said, offering a small smile.

Molly walked into the circus wiped out after rowing a boat all the way here from waffle island. Molly had come here in hopes of being alone to do some practice flips. "Oh hello people nice to meet you!" Molly said bowing next to the people sitting in the chairs.

Kyle looked up. Two blondes, one face familiar, one not so much, greeted him. "Uh..." he said. When did this place get crowded? He cast a quick glance at the performer in the ring, who looked delighted at the great turnout. Three people was more than the usual, after all. Or so he would guess.

"Hi, Arden," he said, offering her a quick smile. He knew she would want to know why he had been gone for so long. But he didn't really have an explanation for her. And to the other blonde, he gave a quick nod and a "Hello."

Arden smiled back. She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and turned to face the newcomer. "Hi," she said, smiling at her, as well. There had been quite an influx of new people lately. She was glad.

She turned to watch the show. waiting for something exciting to happen. She had heard somewhat positive reviews from her friends, even though there was never a big crowd here. As the lights dimmed down and the various performers poured out into the ring, she whispered to Kyle, "So, where have you been lately?"

He shrugged. "Nowhere, really." He turned his attention to the stage. Kyle pretended to be preoccupied by the lady standing on the elephant as if it was was a stepstool or something.

"It's cool how they do that." He wasn't really talking to anyone in particular. Not even to Arden. He kind of made a habit out of talking to himself. Which might just be the reason no one really talked to him. And he liked it that way.

Molly said hi back to the boy and bowed. "So...is the circuss here any good?"
Molly sat down and yawned and fell asleep. She woke up and said "Sorry Im not getting anough sleep latley." Molly said laying in the chair when her cat Kitcat walked up and meowed. The meow echoed in the tent.
