Red's Fever

Red pulled the blanket lower from her head, coughing wildly.
Without realising it, she must have caught a cold in the last beach before Forget-me-not Valley's beach, and had been ignoring it.
Now, Dr. Hardy had told her that it was a high Fever, and that she had to stay in bed and have someone take care of her.

Being the headstrong person she was, she never got someone to take care of her (Making sure not to tell Ruby of her sickness, otherwise word would get around) she could take care of herself.
Red silently pondered this as she lightly rested her eyes, barely resisting sleep.

*Comes knocking on Red's door*
"Hello. I overheared at the beach last time that you caught something"
*rushes to red*
*Puts on a serious expression and places hand over red's forehead*
"102.3 oF"
"What a fever."
*Opens my black bag and digs through it*
*studies Red carefully. and returns digging through the bag*
"You must like apples, am i correct?"
*takes out a apple-flavored medicine*
"Take some of this everyday and you will get better"
"Dont take too much. a tablespoon is enough. One 1 tablespoon a day"
*the serious face comes off*
*Blushes*
"S-sorry i got carried away. If you excuse me..."
*Rushes out of the room*

"Thanks! I didn't get a chance to thank you last night and--- Wait...!" Red let her head drop wearily to the pillow again. Red would have easily caught up with her the night before and today, if she weren't hindered by the fever.

"I wonder how Aiyo is doing down at the reception... I wish I could have come... At least I came to her wedding today, thanks to the almighty apple flavoured medicine that girl gave me yesterday.. And today..." Red felt annoyed with herself for not being able to go to the reception. For not being able to enjoy her friend's happiness with her. For not being able to resist a fever.

*quietly comes upstairs and knocks on Red's door*
"Red! I sneaked for a bit and came upstairs to check up on you."
"Ya know we are having the reciption here at this Inn ^^"
"I'm glad your staying here."
"I know you have a ferver and all. I'm sory if it gets noisy >.<"

"Hu... How did you know I have a fever?" Red asked "I thought the medicine covered it up this morning. Was it really that obvious?" Her once wide and shining eyes were dimmed by her fever.
"I'm sorry I can't go to the reception. I don't want anybody else to get sick, especially you or Aren..." Red scolded herself in her mind again.

"How is your new husband so far?" Red smiled and changed the subject, glaring admiringly up at Aiyo.

"You look much better though! Im glad"
"Aw..."
*takes out a dish full of food and a couple of apples and gives it to you*
"A apple a day keeps the doctor away ^o^"

"It's probably the medicine that mystery girl gave to me" Red gazed towards the Apple Flavoured Medicine on her bedside table.
As Aiyo brought out the food dish, Red's usual smile was back on her pale face.
"Thankyou, so much! Aiyo, you've been so kind to me ever since we met! Really, thankyou..." Red had only really managed to make friends with Aiyo, but she was extremely grateful for Aiyo's kindness towards her.

"No problem (: Take alot of rest and drink that medicine"
*smiles and checks the time*
"Gah. I have been gone for too long. I gotta go back to the reciption"
*hugs Red*
"I will see you later(:!!! I hope you get better soon ^.^"

"Have fun at your reception" Red called out after Aiyo.
As Aiyo left, Red felt more and more determined to just ignore her sickness. But she restrained herself, as much as she didn't like it, it was for the best.
She took a peice of apple from the tray Aiyo had left behind ad took a bite out of it, savouring the juicy sweetness as the taste flowed into her mouth.
After a few peices of apple, she became aware of the fact that her stomach had decided to re-size itself to the size of a woodpecker's stomach.
She put the tray next to the medicine on her bedside table and lay back down with a loud cough.

*quietly checks up on Red.*

Red had intended only to rest her eyes for a minute, but instead drifted off to sleep. Her eyes lay lighly shut by the time Lillia had gotten to her room, although her breathing was still heavy.

*looks at red fondly* "Yes you and me both red." i said coughing softly. "Ohno don't start again!" I told myself alarmed. *stops coughing* "Phew that was close." I said relieved.

Had Ciera not coughed, Red would have fallen completely asleep.
Instead, Red's eyes fluttered back open in alarm, gingerly scanning the room to see who was there.
"Wha... Hello... Where did you come from?" Red murmered feverishly, trying to think if she knew this person, and the fever was just murking her memory with a smoke-screen, or whether she didn't know her all together.

"Sorry if I upset you with this, but my fever must be getting to me... What was your name again?" Red rubbed her eyes in attempt to reduce a sleepy fog.

"no you didn't upset me, you just remind me of, somthing that i can't remember, But no we haven't met I just know your name because i'm the harvest princess, go back to sleep now.

"Whah... Remind you of what? And a Harvest Princess?" Red was starting to wonder if she were delusional.

"you remind me of an incident that happened long ago, to make it more clear I'm the harvest goddess's daughter."
