The Hot Spring

The foamy ground near the wood structure was damp; probably a result of multiple uses. The spring was still fairly new, but already it was one of the more popular relaxation hot spots in the town. Arden had never been there herself, but she had heard good things about the replenishing qualities that people experienced after sitting in the warm water for a while.

Approaching the small platform near the unusually empty spring, Arden stripped down to a blue bathing suit. Kicking off her shoes, she slid tentatively into the water, feeling it envelope her legs, then her torso, and then her shoulders.

Immediately, Arden could see--or rather, feel-- what everyone had been talking about. She sighed. This is relaxing, she thought to herself, settling a little further into the water.

Kitty decided to visit Forget-me-Not Valley due to the long time she had been away from the place. She found herself hearing news of a relaxing spring from the townsfolk, thus she went to the spring. She changed quickly into her bikini and steped out to the spring. The wood creeked beneath her feet as she stepped to the floorings edge. She poked her right foot into the water and quickly drew it out. She the slid it in at a slower pace allowing her body to get used to the heat. Before she new it she was in the water, directly across from Arden. She felt like an idiot for not noticing her friend. "Hi. Long time no see."

Arden looked up, surprised to hear a voice. She couldn't match a face to it, because there was too much steam, but she recognized the voice. "Kitty?" She squinted, and was soon able to make out the shape of her friend. "Kitty!" she repeated, this time with happiness in her voice. She scooted her body along the spring's edge until she was standing at least closer to Kitty. "How are you?"

Kitty let herself relax in the water, her muscle tension decreased and she sighed. "I'm doing great thanks to this spring. I don't remember ever being in one before, so I was anxious about it." The water felt really good, maybe she'd visit the valley more often to enjoy the spring. Plus she'd get to see Arden again. It seemed like they hardly saw eachother. "What about you Arden? How are you doing?"

So-Jun came at the Hot Spring because he wants to take a short dip to refresh himself. He was already in his shorts when he saw his friend, Kitty with another girl. "Hey Kitty!" He said without thinking, he didn't tought what they would say because he was guy and two girls are taking a bath.

Kitty thought she heard So-Jun's voice. It was immpossible to tell if it was him for the steam made it hard to see anyone. The only way for her to be shure was if she asked aloud, "Jun? Is that you? It's immpossible to see you in the steam." The steam fell good as it was cleaning out her pores and relaxing her muscles, but it was a pain for she couldn't make out any of her friends at all.

Arden gasped a bit at the sound of another voice in the spring. It had caught her off-guard; she tripped backwards a bit. She pressed her hands against the wooden frame of the spring to steady herself and squinted into the fog. The voice--very obviously male--was unfamiliar, but Kitty seemed to recognize it. Arden frowned a bit, but settled back against the wood nonetheless.

"Oh, sorry! You're in there. I'll go in later when you and your friend is already done." He said. "Bye Kitty and Kitty's friend!" He shouted so Kitty can hear what he said. He walked out the Hot spring to go somewhere else. "I guess i'll go in later." he said to himself.

Kitty didn't want So-Jun to leave yet, for she didn't get to ask the typical question 'How are you?' to him. Her attention was brought back to Arden who suddenly changed expression. Arden must have not met So-Jun yet, so she may have felt uncomfortable around him or something like that. Kitty leaned against the moist wood of the spring and took a deep sigh, things shure did seem strange around here. "Arden, are you okay? You seem to have gotten a little quiet."

Savannah had heard of some sort of hot spring down by where they were building the circus thing and whatnot. People said it was amazing, so why not try it out and test their opinions. As she walked closer, she heard voices; maybe she should go back another time. But there was one little voice she thought she recognized; Kitty. But she wasn’t all to sure since the mist and fog were very dense. But still, she continued closer and spoke up, “Hi guys, mind if I join?”

A voice was heard in Kitty's ears. The steam made it immpossible to see who it was, but it did sound a lot like Savannah. Then again Kitty knew a lot of people, so she could be easily mistaking someone else for Savannah too. She pushed her hair behind her ears, hoping it would make it easier to hear who she thinks is Savannah. "Savannah? Is that you?" Kitty said crossing her fingers hoping she guessed right.
