i was thinking of possably opening a buisness for him, but i figured i'll just wait a while and get him a job. i'm not 100% aware of all the buisness on here, so if someone wants to offer him one...that'd be great! ^^'

There's plenty of businesses in each town, each with their own staff stuff, so...xD
But Chase has the Supermarket. If Ian wants to work there, then he can send in an application. ;]

Kitty owns a blacksmith too. You can just turn in an application there if you want to too.
