An Evening to Remember [Confession Event Wess and Genna]

"Oh god oh god, Why am I doing this?" Genna thought. She just had second thoughts on what she was planning to do. Now she didn't want to do it but it's too late. He will be here any minute. She took multiple deep breathes to calm her down. She plopped down onto the ground right in front of the Goddess Pond. Her wish came true but did her friend's came true yet? She didn't know, she had no clue. "Oh Goddess, Please help me," She muttered. She liked this person she thought of, he helped her with almost everything. The sad events and the scary events always turned out to be an happy ending.

Wess was wearing his casual clothes, jeans, and a T-shirt, though he felt like he should be wearing something formal. He noticed Genna was already there. "You should of came here earlier, not on time," said a voice in his head. He came to stand beside Genna. "Hey," Wess said, "You wanted to see me?" He looked at the sparkly mist coming off the pond, and his and Genna's vague reflections. He felt out of place. The mist.... And Genna, were so pretty.

Genna turned her head, "Oh hey there," She said. Her heart was pounding, it felt like it was going to burst. She took a deep breathe and got up next to him. "Well it's kinda hard to say..." She said. She was really gonna do this, it's a once in a lifetime chance on what she was going to do. "The reason is Wess," She began. She took a moment and then took a deep breathe. Something was telling her don't do it, she wasn't gonna back down from this. After all she planned, it wasn't going to turn into nothing. "I-I love you," She quickly said. She ducked down her face of embarrassment. What if he said no or just bursted out laughing? She would be devastated.

Wess was a bit taken back by her response, and flushed red for several minutes. He tried to regain his cool, which took several shallow, inaudible breaths. "Looks like my wish came true," is all the escaped his lips for several moments. He was nervous- And glad Genna went first, otherwise, he'd be a nervous wreck. Genna had one of the few things that he lacked- Guts. "I love you too," then escaped from his mouth.

"Huh?" Genna said in suprise. He loved her too? So that's what his wish was. Her affection? She looked up to him with a red face and smiled. She was so happy, She just wanted to hug him. Even though she really hated it. She ran up to him and gave him a tight hug. She finally let out what she said and she was proud of it. She loved him and he loved her to. It all worked out perfectly. "I'm so happy," She said looking up to her friend smiling. She could smile and hug him all day if she wanted to.

Wess felt Genna's surprisingly strong grip. He hugged her back. "Me too," he murmurs. Did this mean she'd want to meet up somewhere later? Hopefully. He continued embracing Genna for what seemed like forever. Finally, he broke the silence. He took a breath. "Would you want to meet up somewhere else with me, like tomorrow?" he asks, not quite sure about the place and time. "It'd be like... A date," Wess says. "I'll message you the details,"

Wess said something about going somewhere tomorrow, of course she'll accept. "Sure, Where and when?" Genna asked. She smiled at him. She was so happy, she couldn't think straight. She really had no idea where to go tomorrow. She tried to think, but she couldn't. she was too happy. It was like she was awarded with a Grammy award and her heart bursted with joy. But this was better then a Grammy award. Her smile hurt but she ignored it, she loved this day.

"How about.... 6, tomorrow night, at the Honey Comb Patisserie?" Wess suggests. "It's on me," he adds; knowing Genna wouldn't eat him out of house and home. He felt full of jubilation; and wasn't sure what to do. He didn't know if this was the time to leave, or what. His messaging idea had been voided in his opinion, but that was probably because Genna was excited about this, just as much as he was. "Sound good?" he asks, trying to make conversation.

"Sounds good to me~," Genna said agreeing. She hadn't been there in a long time, she missed the taste of those pancakes. She loved pancakes, and she couldn't get enough of them. Soon she looked up into the sky which was setting. "Look at the sky~ It's pretty," She said smiling. Bright colors were in the sky, she thought that it was rare to get this in the fall. Plus it was almost winter and it gradually became colder. She would have to get her winter clothing out of the boxes in her closet. She looked up to her, now called "Boyfriend," and smiled.

Wess smiles at Genna's content. He pulls off his coat, and spreads it out so his and Genna's heads could fit on it. Plopping down, he looks at the sky. "Is it beautiful... Just like you," Wess compliments Genna, his new "Girlfriend". He still wasn't sure what to do. "Funny... We always get a beautiful sunset when we become closer and closer," Wess says, smiling. He was glad for Genna's love too. This was great...

He was so nice enough to lend her a jacket, she was pretty cold herself. She sat next to Wess and just kept that warm smile on her face. "Awww stop it," Genna says. Her face flushed, she was so glad she had met him. She can remember that day. He just wanted a job. "Yea, I remember when we first met. It was pretty funny," She said picturing the thoughts in her head. She turned her head to him and lightly kissed him on the cheek. Then she just continued to smile.

Wess chuckled slightly, and Genna leaned over and kissed him. Flushing red again slightly, he continues looking at the clouds. "It was pretty funny," he murmurs. "Look, the cloud looks like a cow," Wess laughs, recalling Betsy and how she had also helped draw Wess and Genna closer. "And that one looks like a -shee-eee-ee-" Wess breaks out into a yawn, two jobs and a farm had tired him out. "A sheep," Wess finishes blandly, blinking his eyes sleepily.

The cloud that looked like a cow looked a lot like Betsy. She remembered that cow, luckily Wess saved her. She was grateful of that. Then There was a cloud that looked liked a sheep but he yawned. "You tired?" Genna asked. It was getting pretty late, but she didn't want to leave yet. The last cloud she saw before the sun setted was what looked like a duckling. "And there's a duckling," She added. But it dissapeared as the night sky turned into a dark blue. She wished this day lasted forever.

"Just a little," Wess said; stifling a yawn. "You know, it sort of does- Hey look, a rabbit!" Pointing as a darkened cloud passes over the moon; darkening their few. Thinking this was a good time to leave, he got up. "It's getting late, I really should be going," he says nonchalantly. He walked down the path, leaving his coat with Genna. He walked down the road, and turned; to enter his own home. Falling back on his back, he fell soundly asleep.

"Now that you say that, it does look like a rabbit," Genna said still looking up at the sky. It was hard to see because it was night right now but since it was right in front of the moon, it could be seen. "Oh, See you tomorrow~" She waved. She started to get up and noticed his jacket was still with her. "Ah well, I'm going to see him tomorrow anyways," She muttered. She then made her way back home.
