Ninja Legacy:Part 2 [IC]

Aoisai stared in awe at Mei, she basically did what he did only more to the point. Also hitting on the hidden temple's weapon, he wouldn't have dared to talk to about it this early. He looked from Mei to the Elders then looked at Rei. "Well that is a way to get to the point..." he muttered to himself. He kept a wary eye on the elders and Mei.

Rei stared at Mei,she basically called their village worthless. “Mei. Let me handle this please.” Rei turned toward the elders,“What is in that temple? A weapon?” The elders shook their heads. “No” Yan spoke, “It is much worse”Li finished.

Mei smirked at this,some kind of dark power. “Why not use it?” She said with glare,“It must be strong.” Mei smiled,“You could prove your strength by using such a power.” Mei really didn't care about them or their dingy village. She just loved dark or evil things.

Aoisai noted the changes in their energies. Anxiety, fear, lust he held his head in frustration so many negative energies in the room was giving him a headache. He closed his eyes in pain and took in a few deep breaths trying to calm down. "Please Elders, may you tell us what is in the Hidden Temple." He opened an eye to look at them, the fear energy surrounding both of the in a haze.

The elders looked at the group and sighed. "Let us tell them Yan." Li spoke to her sister, "Yes we shall Li." The two old ladies looked at them. "A spirit known as Bridgette. It was said she loved our original leader,the founder of the Soul Clan." The elders took a deep breathe and spoke together once more,"She was not a ninja,but a witch. She was sealed there by our founder when she killed his wife and child. Her power is immense and she would be helpful,but we will not use her."

Rei looked at them in fear. "A witch? I have never seen one before." She wondered why they refused to use her power, "Can she help us if we asked her?" The elders shook their heads,"That witch is pure evil. She only wants the leader of the Soul Clan,and she hates ninjas." Rei felt upset when she heard this and ran out of the elders' home.

Mei watched her sister leave. She knew that other creatures like witches were long extinct and never to be seen again. "So. It is not a bloodthirsty beast,but some stupid love sick witch?" Mei rolled her eyes at this,"Hey blind boy. Let's find my sister." She called to Aoisai. "Your clan will die if you disagree to this alliance. Your clan is slowly falling, and soon the other clans will learn of this and destroy you."

Aoisai slowly nodded in agreement with Mei, he was still nervous about Mei but he was worried about her sister. "Elders if you will excuse me." He said and turned to Mei, "Yes let's go find your sister, I don't believe she would have gotten far." He looked out the door and tried to find her energy. "Yes, she should still be nearby, but I do believe twins can sense each other. Am I correct in that superstition?" He asked curiously and started to walk out.

Mei looked confused. "I think so. When we are near each other I feel stronger." Then a thought came to mind,"Hey. Do you like my sister? I mean you seem to be around her alot." Mei was very curious about this, she smiled at him. "Well? I won't be mad if you say no or yes."

Rei sat on a tree branch looking at the sun. "Of all the villages, why did you send me here?" Rei thought to herself, she wondered why her mother kept Mei and not her. She looked away from the sun and in the direction of the temple. "A witch? I know they are long since extinct." She decided not to investigate the temple,mostly because of her fear of things like that.

Aoisai tripped but caught himself on the outside rail, a blush spreading across his face. "I don't know what you are talking about.." he stammered, "Can't two ninjas from the same village look after one another..." he kept stammering, but realized he was getting nowhere. "Honestly I....I do...." he muttered quietly. "There is just something about her, I may not be able to see what it is, but I can somehow still "see" something." He looked at her, "It is hard to explain you weren't born with these eyes." He said quietly.

Mei giggled at his reaction. "I can see it too. I have watched my sister since my mother told me about it." Mei smiled at him,"Lots of guys liked her,but she doesn't like them. It made me think she was unable to know what love was." She started giggling again,"But near you she seems accepting. Y'know being blind isn't so bad, you won't be able to see all the bloodshed when people die." Mei sounded comforting,but her words were cold. "Lookie! Rei is back!"

Rei walked up to them. "Sorry for running off. I needed to think about something." She noticed Aoisai was blushing,"What's wrong with you?" Rei stared at Mei,who simply giggled. "Sissy!" Rei turned to see her "sister" Emiko running toward her. "Mommy wants you home." Rei smiled at her,"Tell her I'm taking of something right now." Emiko ran off, unaware of Mei glaring at her. "You hate her,Mei. I may not be blood related to my adoptive family,but I love them." Rei walked to Aoisai,"Why are you still blushing?"

He looked at Mei shocked and was about to reply when Rei returned. "Its nothing Rei..." he feeling the heat slowly die on his face. He noticed the hate emit from Mei as Emiko came and departed, but kept quiet about it. "It really is nothing big Rei." He said, hoping his stutter had also left.

Rei raised an eyebrow at Aoisai,hearing the stutter. "Something is wrong with you." She pressed her forehead againist his,"You don't have a fever." She heard Mei giggle. Rei looked at her in confusion,"What did you talk about when I was gone?!" Rei looked at both of them in anger mixed with confusion.

Mei laughed harder,looking at Aoisai. Rei was really close to him now and he was as red as a cherry. She looked at them both still laughing.

"N-nothing of importance!" He said nervously, he felt his face grow very warm. "We were discussing...." he shut up there. "It really is not important right now, all Mei asked was a question." He was still blushing quite severely. "So where did you go then?" He asked trying to change the topic while he tried to regain hhis composure. He looked at Rei and noticed her confused and anger auras, he eyed Mei who kept laughing.

Rei,still mad, pointed toward a tree. "I was looking at the sun. Thinking." She looked at Mei who was still laughing. "Why are you laughing?!" Rei looked at Aoisai in confusion.

Mei giggled and her cat ears popped out,"I have to go my leader is looking for me." Mei left but have Rei a quick hug and whispered " I hope you two have many babies together." Then she ran away laughing.

Rei stood there in shock,"WHAT!?!?!" She screamed really loud
[Meanwhile in the Fang Village]

The rain was pouring hard today in the Fang Village,but that didn't mean the ninjas were not training. "Keep it up!" Hotaru yelled to them,she looked at the men. Her leader was training elsewhere and Fubuki was at home resting. Hotaru looked calm in the rain,but she was raging on the inside. "Soon. A battle is coming very soon."

Aoisai cringed as he heard Rei scream, he looked for Mei who happened to vanish at the same time. "I am going to kick her....." He muttered as his face deepened even more. He couldn't tell her how he felt, not after this entire fiasco. "Wh-what did she say?" He asked her nervously, and expecting the worse. He just wanted to vanish at the moment until things cooled down, but he knew he wasn't going to get away that easily. "Rei, I am sorry, I am not sure what your sister said but I think we can talk it out." He said nervously.

Rei looked at him,"She said something about us having lots of babies." She put her hands on her hips and looked at him. "Something you wanna tell me?" Rei glared at him,but she wasn't mad just very irritated.

Mei ran toward the mountain still giggling at her sister's scream. "I wuv my precious sister." Mei ran up the mountain and looked for her leader.

"Well Mei asked if, well I liked you..." He said quietly, he was fiddling with his fingers. "I told her.....yes." He felt himself grow even more nervous. "She asked why I was always with you, I just...." he gulped, "I told her I cared for you. I didn't think she would go overboard like that, and I didn't think I would react like that either." He met her gaze with his own. "I didn't know how to tell you though..." He kept fiddling with his fingers.

Rei smiled shyly at him. "I see." She normally got like eighteen confessions from guys, because of her good looks. Blue hair and eyes were major turn on for the Soul Village. "Wow. Um,well. That's good to know." She was blushing brightly and smiled at him. "Y'know? You are my type and that makes me happy."

Aoisai's face turned a deep red, he didn't expect Rei to say that at all. "Well, you caught me off guard with your response...." He could see Rei's aura brighten. "I am sorry I wasn't able to tell you sooner...." He said and slowly moved closer to her, he couldn't control his body. Her aura seemed to be drawing him in, she was beautiful it wasn't just her physical appearance that mattered to him. "I guess these eyes are a gift. It is everything about you I like, your spirit, personality, looks everything I am able to perceive it all." His eyes stayed on her, a smile on his face.

Rei smiled at him,she liked that he couldn't "see" her appearance. But it was her personality that drew them together. “We are made for each other. I am glad.” Rei knew his feelings were true,her admirers only liked her for looks and not her personality. Rei made the move and kissed him happily.

Aoisai accepted her with open arms, he never expected to feel this kind of energy before. Nothing in the world could describe what he was feeling right now, all he could see were the positive energies of the two of them mixing. He realized in this moment that the Soul Village wasn't what he wanted to protect most but Rei, he would die for her. These eyes were not a curse, not something his father should have killed his mother and tried to kill Aoisai for. But if that had not occurred he would not be standing here this moment and for once he was happy for it. He kissed her back and held her in his arms and would not let go of her, he didn't want to lost her. "I love you Rei." He whispered in her ear.

In the Blossom Village intense training was going on. Kokoro was not allowed to train. Instead she was begging the elder for something. “No! Kokoro we will not allow it!” Kokoro was on her hands and knees “Please! I need a man's help! I can't do this on my own!” Kokoro knew she couldn't be a single mother,she needed someone to help her.

Fubuki laid in the hospital bed for her check up,“You are doing very well. The babies are in good health.” the nurse told her. Fubuki smiled and rubbed her belly,there was a bump there now. “Thank you. I need to get home now.” Fubuki waved good bye and left the clinic. It was still raining,but she didn't mind at all. She entered her house and laid on her bed,her husband was training and would be back soon.

Rei felt safe in his arms,it was a good thing to be there. “Thank you for helping me.” A thought came to her mind,“Tonight,I suggest we find the Shadow Clan's hideout. Its time we got a tour of their home.”

Hotaru decided to end the training when she heard thunder. “Hey its gonna be storming soon,so lets stop here.” The men ran off happily to the bar. Hotaru rolled her eyes at them,she noticed something in the distance when it thundered. “Come out! ” A hooded girl came out and spoke to her “Your clan is powerful, yes very powerful.” She smiled at her “I just took a tour,I will leave now.” Hotaru watched as she left in a poof of smoke.“Spies. Great,now I know we have an issue.”

Vos appeared behind Aoisai. "Why do all you Soul ninjas want to go to the Shadow village so badly?" he said. He crossed his arms, waiting for them to finish thier kiss.

(sorry that I havnt posted in a while. Parents are too cheap to pay the Internet bill xD)

Rei aruptly pulled away from Aoisai and glared at Vos. “Why are you here?” She was feeling really happy and now he showed up to ruin it. Before Rei could say anything,Mei reappeared.

“Vossy!” Mei yelled,she looked out of breathe. “I was almost up the mountain when our leader said you ran off in the middle of a meeting!” Then she saw her sister,“Aw! You two are in wuv!” She smiled happily, “Me and Vos will be happy to escort you to our village. As lieutenant it is my duty!”

Rei smiled at her,“Thanks.” She looked at Vos,a part of her knew he was happier in the Shadow Clan. She felt a cold shudder go down her spine. The hooded girl appeared.

“Soul and Shadow. The alliance formed.” She smiled,“Let us see how it will end.” The hooded girl smirked and disappeared.

Aoisai was nodding in agreement when Vos appeared, when Rei pulled herself from him he turned to face Vos. "Hello Vos." He said calmly, observing how he has changed since he left Soul. Mei appeared shortly after, "Why thank you very much, Mei." He replied. When the hooded girl appeared he blinked in surprise, he didn't sense or see her come at all. He was only able to take in her aura for a brief second, before she vanished. "Another one of your Ninja's?" He asked Vos and Mei. "She had a very interesting aura about her."

Mei shooked her head at his question. "I do not know her,but she is not human."Mei decided to ignore the girl for now. "Follow along now! I run very fast!" Mei led them to the mountain,it was hidden from all of the village. "Welcome to Cloud Mountain." She stepped through the barrier,making sure they were following her. "Ta-da! Here is our humble abode!"

Rei gasped in shock of the village,it was empty. There was no villagers to be seen,only ninjas. "Where are the villagers?" Mei smirked,and told her the village only housed ninjas. Rei could not believe her ears. "How? I do not understand why?" Mei led them to her home, it was decorated with gothic things and was black and red. Rei looked at Mei who was putting away her sword. "Am I a demon like you?"

Mei shrugged. "You were born in this village,but you did not have the mark of the Shadow Clan. That's why she sent you to the Soul Village."
