SUMMER 09!

OK, I'm getting a little ahead of myself here, because summer is still quite a ways away, but what are your plans?

As for myself, I'm volunteering at a nursery school that my friend's mom owns, and I'm considering applying for a summer job somewhere. But there really aren't that many jobs available for fourteen year olds (stupid!). So I might ask my neighbor if she needs someone to watch her kids during the week.

And then, towards the end of summer, I'm going to....wait for it....

DISNEY WORLD! 8D


Yeah, yeah, yeah....I still haven't outgrown it. XD I can't help it! It's a lot of fun! I'm going with my young cousins, who have never been before, and I'm REALLY looking forward to it. I haven't been to Disney since last fall. (which is a LONG time if you live in Florida XD)




So, you guys got any plans?

I'm taking a gemotry class to get ahead of my class. There goes four weeks of my summer. At four hours a day...*sighs* I want to go to disney world too, but I also want to get in a better math class at school. If I don't take it I won't get into AP Calc....

probably a lot of Babysitting! I'm also going to washington D.C. (depends on how much money my mom or dad have) and going to summer school to get better at math and get ready for middle school and spend some time with my cousin!

Nyeh. I was considering taking an Algebra II Summer School course so I could get into Trig when I was a freshman, but I decided against it, because the course is very hard, very accelerated, and one of my friends told me not to do it, because she had, and when she took freshman Trig she was so lost. She got a D in the class every quarter, because she was so confused.


Good luck with Geometry, though. *shudders* I hate geometry. It made me hate shapes forever. Even poor, innocent hexagons.

Summer classes are supposed to help. That's odd cause last year I took a class for Social Studies 101 and Language Arts 101 to go to S.S. 202 and L.A. 202 and I've got A's and B's.
