Arrived!

The guitar case on his back provided Chase with a bit of shade as he stepped off the boat onto the dock in the tiny little town where he was to live. Of course, he was accustomed to small towns, but Mineral Town was extraordinarily so. He squinted against the sun as he glanced around the somewhat empty beach, blinking as a breeze suddenly gushed through the area, blowing sand at his face harshly. He smiled, even though the sand and sun was a bit much for him-- it was his first time living in an oceanside town. He couldn't wait to come back to the beach to actually relax.

But for now, he had more important things to do. Gripping his suitcase tightly, and shrugging the guitar case a little further onto his back, Chase Hawthorne started to tread through the sand.

A distant bark came closer and closer as a Shiba Inu, probably only a few months old came rushing onto the beach wagging his tail like there was no tomorrow. "Renny!" Aiyo yelled. The hyper-active puppy gave his playful stance and bolted toward her. He stopped a few yards away from Aiyo and he turned with his ears up, panting. All of a sudden he ran the other direction heading to something.. or someone he found. Whats with Renny today? she though following him. Today Taila, the short haired american tabby, was resting at the clinic mewing her own buisness. While Aiyo and Renny went to tehe beach to get some exercise.

The corners of Chase's mouth turned upwards in a smile as the small dog ran towards him. He scooped the animal up in his arms and smiled at the girl who was running after it. "I believe this is yours," he called, walking over to meet her. When they met up, he put the dog on the ground and re-shouldered his guitar case. "Cute dog," he said.

Aiyo noticed a rather shady guy with a guitar case scoop up her puppy and smile. She slowed down to a final stop as he said "I believe this is yours," then he added "Cute dog,". Aiyo smiled, "Thank you." She said as she took Renny from the stranger's arms. Renny struggled in her arms as he pounced down and then jumped on the guy. "Er, sorry about this. I hope you don't mind" Aiyo said as she whistled. Renny automatically turned to Aiyo then trotted next to her sitting down. "Uhm..., Hi I'm Aiyo" She waved.

Chase nodded in response, then shaded his eyes with his hand again. "I'm Chase," he said, sticking his free hand out to shake hers. "And our little friend's name is...?"" He nodded at the dog, who was sitting obediently next to its master. He smiled, shifting his weight against the sand.

She picked the dog up showing Chase proudly "This is Renny, this little hyper-active pup" as she chuckled. A mew came out of nowhere. Weight shifted in her doctor's gown pocket. Aiyo reached in and brought out Taila, the little kitten. "Where did you come from? I though you were sleeping at the Clinic" She pouted teasingly at Taila. "I guess Renny's toys balanced the little kitten. No wonder" She said. Renny wagged his tail even harder as he jumped on Aiyo to sniff Taila.

Chase chuckled. "My, you just have animals everywhere, don't you?" he said, smiling gently. He reached down and scratched Renny behind the ear, seeing the dog's tail wag excitedly. Straightening back up, he said, "I'm from a little town in South Caroline...a little place called Harper's Creek." He looked around the beach, and chuckled again. "Though, I doubt it's as small as this place is."

Genna walked along the shore and saw Aiyo and a strange guy she haven't met."Maybe i'm interupting?" She thought to herself.She hid behind a bush somewhere and looked what Aiyo and the guy were doing."Wondering what they're talking about." Genna mumbled."Oh, come on Genna! You love meeting new people!" Genna thought again.

Chase spotted movement in the bushes nearby. A distinctly human, most likely female form lurked, and he could see blonde hair peeking out. Chuckling, he called out, "Hello!" Walking over to the bushes and spreading the branches, he smiled down into the foliage. "You don't have to hide."

"Oh god he found me." Genna thought.
She got up "Hi! hehe sorry about that!" Genna said.
She went down the stairs to the beach and went near the two.
"So what's your name?" Genna asked the black hair guy.

Chase grinned. "I'm Chase," he said, sticking his hand out. He was generally a very cordial guy when you first got to know him; after that, if he decided he didn't like you, the friendliness stopped. For these girls, though, he could picture himself being friends with the both of them. The girl who had just stepped out of the bushes had an embarassed, yet strikingly lovely smile. "And your name?"

"I'm Genna." Genna said happily.
"Sometimes I get in the mood to hide and suprise someone so watch out!" Genna joked.
She wiped off the left over leaves off her shirt.
She had a friendly smile on now.
"Nice to meet you though." Genna said.
