[Black Heart Event] Chase & Genna

Genna slowly walked into the library, The only person can see her was Mary. Genna hadn't been to the library in awhile so she decided to read for an hour because she was bored and to also kill time. She scanned the shelves looking for an intresting book. Nothing really intrested her. 'Don't judge the book by the cover." Genna thought.

She finally got a book the intrested her. She got the book and went to a little table. Genna carefully opened the book and read atleast one paragraph.

Chase had decided to return to the library quite a while ago; he enjoyed the serenity of the place. However, he had just become so busy lately, that he hadn't found the opportunity to go back.

Today, when his schedule was finally cleared, he set his guitar down and instead headed to the brick-stone library.

Entering, and nodding at the librarian, he made his way to the back of the place, before spotting a blonde girl sitting and reading a book at the single table. He picked up a book--Everyone's Fortune-- and sat down in a chair two spots away from the girl.

Genna heard the door opened and she decided to ignore it. But she had the urge to look up so she did. A Black hair man with with glasses. He sat down at least 2 spots away from her. She smiled. "C'mon Genna! You know you want to greet him." Her mind said while Genna was rolling her eyes. She closed the book and walked to the man. "Um, Hello." Genna said smiling. She wasn't used to talking to men unless she knew them very well. This guy, Genna didn't know very well so she felt a bit nervous. On the outside she looked very calm but she was kinda nervous in the inside.

Chase looked up at the sound of the girl's voice. He met her eyes and smiled, sensing her nervousness. "Hello, there." Friendly people in this town, that's for sure. He blinked, taking off his glasses and cleaning them with a small piece of silky fabric. "What book are you reading?" he asked, nodding his head at the paperback in the blonde's hand.

Genna was shocked from his answer. "Um I reading a book about a girl who um lost her family. I only read the first chapter though." Genna replied. It was an intresting book so far. She didn't really like hardcover books because the covers were pretty rough sometimes. This guy was pretty friendly. She smiled. "Um, Do you mind if I sit here?" Genna asked looking at the man.

Chase nodded. "Sure, go ahead," he said, pulling out a chair for the blonde girl. "I'm Chase," he said, sticking out his hand for the girl to shake. "I'm reading a book called-" he paused to look at the cover, just to refresh the memory of the title in his head, "-it's called Everyone's Fortune. It's about a bunch of people who win the lottery, and how they have to split the jackpot, and how everyone deals with being suddenly rich, and what they do with the money." He looked down at the cover again, and then added, "It's a really good book."

Genna sat down on the chair and shaked hands with Chase. "I'm Genna, nice to meet you." Genna greeted herself. She was mostly the hyper and childish type and sometimes never actaully had the time to read. She giggled in her mind that Chase kept looking at the cover. "Sounds like a good book. i should read it sometime. It's a nice find." Genna said. She looked around the library just to see if something caught her mind.

Chase nodded his head, a bit distracted. For the sake of conversation, he said, "Do you read a lot?" If he found the time between his music, his job, and all the other things he found himself doing in this place, he enjoyed a good book. But it had been a while since he had found anything worth rereading. This one--so far, anyways-- was better than most. But some books had the ability to be shockingly disappointing with the turn of a page.

Genna scratched her head for a few seconds. "Well, I used to read a lot when i was a child. But I just don't like talking about my past. It's just painful to talk about." Genna said looking at the ground.

She twirled a strand of her hair still looking at the ground. Soon, She got over it and smiled at Chase. "Um, i should be going now. bye!" Genna said pushing back in her chair.
