Friendship event [chase and Ian]

Ian sighed as he drank some of his coffee. It was lunch time, and he had already ordered his food. He wore a baggy t-shirt and old blue jeans with holes in some places and all torn up at the bottom. And last, a jacket. Ian scratched his orange hair as he read the paper. "man i'm tierd.' she grumbled to himself.

Wandering around is a hungry business.

It was a rare occasion when Chase didn't have something--an ingredient, a granola bar, candy--in his backpack to eat when the mood struck. But today, he didn't have anything, after being in a rush to leave the house in the morning. His stomach had started growling half an hour ago, and now, he was ravenous.

He entered the building and ordered some food, resisting the urge to drool at the site of the delacacies. Looking up, he met the eye of an orange-haired boy, and nodded in silent greeting.

Ian smiled and nodded back. "good afternoon." he said in a smooth tone. he set his paper down and took another swig of his bitter black coffee. Just the way he liked it. The boy who just stumbled in had black hair and glasses. Ian couldn't help smiling to himself. Despite the boy's appearence, he seemd like the type that was friendly yet dark. Perhaps. Ah, what did Ia know? he was still whiped out.

Paying for his food and sitting down at the nearby table, Chase dug into his food ravenously. He couldn't cook worth his life, and he couldn't live off of zucchini and peaches from his produce store for the rest of his life. It was refreshing to eat a full meal once in a while.

Looking back up at the guy at the next table, Chase paused for a second. "Can I see the Sports section?" he asked, nodding at the paper.

"sure." ian said handing him the paper. "rough morning, eh?" he asked the guy. "i'm ian, by the way." the waitress brought out his food and ina started to slowly eat it. It wasn't until a few moments later he asked "and may i ask who are?" ian took another sip of coffee, only to relize it was gone. he let out a sigh and set it down.

Chase took the thin section of paper, opening it up and propping it at an angle on the table. "I'm Chase," he said, holding the paper with one hand and taking a bite of his food with the other. "Not really a rough morning, per se. Just...hungry." He chuckled, and shook his head just enough to brush the hair out of his eyes without the use of his hands. "Nice to meet you, Ian.

Ian smiled. "likewise." he let out a yawn and took another bite of food. he pursed his lips for a split second, going over thing in his brain. Then he nodded and continued eating. "nice day, huh?" he asked. he flipped some orange hair outta his face. Ian wasn't one for making small talk. But he tried anyway.
