Game Over!

I decided to make this one because I had the idea after I finished the other one I wrote-(I'll put the link up later!)-and also because I have time to. Hope it isn't too soon! arty~

She ran through the forest, making a point not to turn around. That would cost time, and time wasn't something she had a lot of right now. All she knew was that he was chasing her. His objective was simple:kill her. As she thought about that, her breathing became ragged, unsteady. There was no escape unless she got to the edge of the trees. She couldn't climb the trees-the branches were too high and thin. She had to stick to the path. The path curved. She sprinted around it and was faced with a problem. Two paths. Which way? Quickly, she picked the left path, and carried on running. His footsteps were too close. She felt tired. She prayed for escape...but came to a dead end. There was nowhere to go. She closed her eyes as he walked up to her, ready to strike...

I slammed the controller down, angrily and stood up. "You said it was easy!"
He just smiled and picked the controller back up. "One more go?"
His smile was drawing me in. I gazed at the screen. Game over! It told me. I sat down slowly.
"You're on!" I laughed as the forest was displayed on the screen again.

Oh, hahahahahaha! Thats funny- I was all into the story and then I read the last part! It was a video game?! Your good a keeping up suspence! not cool-naw, I kid! I love it!
