One parent, a mother, did her best not to smother her four small children, three girls and their brother. Piet, the rebel, made trouble for her. His childhood happiness reduced to a blur. He took up smoking at twelve, drinking at thirteen. It would be many years before he was clean. His sisters looked on, him as the model. And suddenly his life went into full-throttle. Risking losing his money, family, and friends, he dropped out of school and cut his loose ends. He started a journey, a traveling high, and vowed to see the world whisk by. Visiting Paris, Tokyo, Milan and Shanghai, it didn’t take long for his funds to grow dry. He ended up in a small town – “Mineral,” it’s called, and here, for the time being, our hero has sprawled.Harvest World Dream Job: Vineyard owner. He may work several part time jobs until he can save enough money, but this is his ultimate dream. [This is where this goes, correct? Let me know if anything needs to be changed!] | |
