My world is spinning.
What could I possibly be thinking?
I see the sun to my left and the moon to my right.
And here I stand in the twilight
Take a single word from my lips,
Translate it as you will.
Let it be anger, kindness, or sadness,
Or even love and rage.
On this defined line I stand,
It’s feels like a never-ending journey.
I don’t know what I must choose.
One wrong move and I may change the course of
Everything.
Pause.
Reflect.
Why?
What words must I speak to change this?
Must I spread my arms reach to grab for both sensations?
Scream at the top of my lungs for an answer?
Speak softly to me,
For I wish to know.
These words that can be so sweet and so bitter,
So full of passion but so full of deceit.
What could these words possibly carry for me?
Whisper, my friend, barely above the air.
Whisper these words,
For I do not wish to know anymore.
