Another? [Wess/Genna]

Genna wasn't feeling herself lately. She felt fatigued and nauseated. She was afraid her condition was worsening by the minute. Luckily she took a day off. She sat on a chair on the dining table. Her head was face down on the table, she felt really sick. She moaned.

Grace came walking over, giggling and pulling on her mother's shirt. probably asking to play. She raised her head and patted her daughters full head of brown hair. "Maybe, daddy will," She said softly. Grace walked down the hallway to where Wess might be.

She couldn't take it anymore. She got up and went to where Wess probably was. "Can we go to the doctor's? I feel really sick," She said tiredly.

Wess was sitting down, he had his largest cat in his lap, and his other and Genna's cat seemed to be on either arm of the chair. Reading the paper, he mumbled things like, "Interesting...." Momentarily, Grace toddled into their room, her chestnut brown hair was down to her shoulder's now; she resembled both her parents equally. She crawled up into his lap, and with a disdainful glare, the cat leaped to the head of the chair, to become Wess' new head rest.

Bending down, Wess picked up his daughter, and threw her into the air, and she giggled, landing back in his arms to be tickled. Placing her in his lap, Wess played with his daughter's small fingers. Moments later; Genna came into the room, claiming to be sick. Her husband's eyes flashed with worry, in fact, he stood up from where he was standing. Carrying Grace over to a cabinet, he pulled out what seemed to be a large pink coat, well, at least large for Grace. He strapped it around his daughter. "Emergency clothes," he chimed. He lead Genna outside, still carrying his well-bundled piece of joy. "How bad does it hurt? Can you walk, or is it painful enough I need to get the horses?" he asks, still looking very worried.

Genna giggled silently. "No, I can walk. I probably just need an uhh...Ultrasound to find out what it is," She thought for a moment. Grace was soon put on a pink coat, it was still early spring weather. She was worried if she had a tumor or anything dangerous or drastic for her body. She wasn't a doctor herself and her husband was just a doctor for animals.

Luckily the doctor's office was somewhat close to the farm. She went up to the counter and explained her condition to the nurse and scheduled an appointment in about five minutes or so since the palce wasn't so busy today. Genna nodded and took a seat on a chair, moitoning her family to seat for for a few minutes or so.

Wess nodded. There was nothing puncturing her stomach, so it had to be something like a stomach cramp... He just hoped it wasn't a tumor. Taking Grace up on his shoulders, he held Genna's hand, and together, they slowly made their way to the doctor's office. The road, or more like a path, had them going towards what seemed to be a clinic, most likely Aiyo's. Walking into there, his wife checked in with the nurse.

Slipping out of his hand, Genna seemed to sign some things for a room, analysis, ultrasound, or whatever it was that she needed. Grace had found the emergency toys he had stuffed in her overly large pockets. Pulling them out, she threw a small teddy bear in the air, catching it, and repeating. He sat down with Genna, waiting.

Grace was happily playing with the toys, and stuffing them in her pockets which were quite huge. Genna giggled when she threw the teddy bear in the air and caught it. Although Genna was scared. Soon a nurse came and moitioned her eyes towards them.

"Mr and Mrs. Hill?"

She called aloud. Genna shifted her green eyes towards Wess, then she slowly got off her chair and followed the nurse to a room that was small. A bed and and a few chairs, also a sink and some posters on the walls. "Your doctor will be here soon," Said the nurse. The nurse soon closed the door leaving the room dead quiet.

They waited for about three minutes till the door opened. It was one of the doctors and Genna explained the situation. As she thought, she needed a ultrasound so the doctor can confirm her diagnosis. The doctor led the family to a room that already had a ultrasound equipped. It took a few minutes till he found the problem in her stomach.

"Well Mrs. Hill, your not sick. Your actually going to have another member in the family," He explained, smiling as he explained.

Genna lightly took in a gasp and turned her eyes towards Wess and Grace. Grace was going to have a little sibling. "Oh my god," Genna said happily.

Wess held his breath as his wife had the jelly smeared all over her tummy. He then took that little scanner thing, and the beginnings of a child could be seen inside her stomach. "Are you serious?..." he began, still staring at the ultrasound screen- He was speechless; he was happy, but speechless. Shaking his head back into the real world, he said, "That's great!" In an enthused voice. He held Grace close to him, who giggled as she threw her rattle towards the screen.

"Grace, no!"

Genna smiled at the screen. Although it was small, she could see it. Although she didn't like black and white pictures, but if this thing was in color. She be'll grossed out. Next thing she knew Grace threw her rattle at the screen. She jumped away to she wouldn't get hit. Her daughter was actually a pretty good thrower. The doctor jumped as well. Soon the screen faded and there was a small crack on the screen.

"We're so sorry, is there anyway we could help you guys fix this?"

Genna asked, placing her hand on her cheek. The doctor chuckled. "It's only a small crack, electricians could fix this. If she broke the entire screen we would have you guys pay a big price," The doctor explained. Genna let out a small smile. "Ah, thank you," She said shaking the doctor's hand. The doctor nodded and soon went out the room. She wiped the jelly like substance off and fixed her shirt. She went picked up the rattle and gave it back to Grace who grabbed it back.

"You're going to be a big sister, Grace!" She said placing her hands on her knees.
