| Only the Best Can Survive http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6206388/1/Survive_a_Cruise_Liner_Horror Spring has just started, and in honor of the beginning of the new year, Romana of Forget-Me-Not-Valley has paid for a Cruiseline that is big enough to hold half of all of the nearby towns population added together. The Santa Romana, as the ship is appropriately called, stands tall at the beach in Forget-Me-Not Valley where she eagerly awaits her passengers. Romana hired the familiar Captain Stern to guide her passengers through the waters safely while her guests could leisurely chat amongst themselves with an extrordinary view of the nearby scenery. Food, activities, and drinks are of course provided. The cruise itself is supposed to last a total of 3 days, with a few pit stops in between, however somethng goes terribly wrong. The Captain is murdered on the first night of the ship, and the murderer is still on board. More people are bound to die. Will any be left in the end? Will they find the killer? And who will survive? Please sign up your characters. It’ll be FUN. I’ll have it rated T, and to be safe, I’ll post it on Fanfiction because I know death can be an uncomfortable subject for children. And I will do my best to keep everyone in character, but just so you guys know...one of the characters on the list will be the killer. No buts. I'll probably use the number randomizer to keep you guys guessing. I'll start whenever the list fills up. If it doesn't, I'll just toss in some NPCs (Vaughn is going down. >8D)1. Ray 2. Isaac 3. Michael 4. Genna 5. Savannah 6. Ari 7. Chase 8. Mia 9. Dylan 10. Kitty 11. Gabe 12. Ian 13. Adamaris (No more characters, please. This is getting pretty full.)

| As we talked about earlier, I'm not even adding the baby. That is a little too sad. D:
I will consider not killing Michael, at least in the beginning because he can have some use. Suspense wise, at least. Genna and Isaac, however, are vulnerable to fate.

| THIS SOUNDS EXCITING. 8D YOU CAN TOTALLY USE SAVANNAH AND ARI. 8D
You can't trust the kind ones, since they are so sweet! They would never be suspected of a killing but in the end, it was always them!

| You are free to abuse Dylan cause she'd naturally be with Ari since she is his wife.
I would like Kitty to be there because she's a character that could be evil or could be good. So you can abuse her as well.
I might as well say that you can abuse all of my characters, even Gabe. If you want I can post their profiles for you too see which ones you like. ;]

| YAY THIS IDEA IS GONNA WORK. 8DDD
Ok, so my list got pretty full pretty darn fast. Since it filled up faster than expected, if any other members want their characters to join in, they can only pick one of them.
If everybody could PM me their character's profiles, that would be great. o.o It would save me the trouble of individually finding them repeatedly over and over...
OH. And in like, two sentences describe their reaction to seeing a dead body. For character accuracy, of course. On here if you want.

| Since the first chapter is completely safe, and I assume the second will be as well because it's to ease you guys into the setting and all, I'll be posting them here. As I was writing, some of the things I wrote in the first post changed, but it's minor. Survive: a Cruise Liner Horror - Spoiler:
The First Chapter: POV Officer Harris
I had been filing my reports for the day when the phone rang; Lady Romana, the elderly woman from Forget-Me-Not-Valley had required my assistance and was eager for professional help. Giving a grin with the receiver held close to my ear, I said that I would be honored for the job.
“Great,” She said, her voice crackling from the static. “I’m sure there won’t be any problems; the kids here are good at heart, I tell ya.” She explained, the words still ringing clear in my ears. She continued talking with great animation in her voice, why even at her age, she always had a funny youthful spark when she talked.
“Expect a good reward Officer Harris, for setting my mind at ease.” Why, if I wasn’t so busy writing in one hand and talking on the phone with the other, I would have saluted the ol’ gal. Not that she would have seen it, mind you, but I still felt that she deserved the respect.
“Gosh golly, you can count on me, M’am! I’ll keep those hooligans in line.” I reassured her with my chest puffed up proudly, receiving a curious look from my father in the desk in front of me. I gave him a look to warn him to keep his big trap shut, but he seemed ready for burst with his nosy inquiries.
“ I leave the Santa Romana’s safety in your hands, officer. Good day to you.” She chimed, abruptly hanging up before I could say a good-bye of my own. I didn’t think much of it, considering Father was practically breathing down my neck by now.
“Well? Well? Tell your pop what’s going on in his dearest son’s life.” And I swear I saw his mustache droop a little when he faked a pout. “Or don’t you love me anymore?” He added, using the same puppy dog look he used to con mom into marrying him.
My father, the mayor, was such a kidder by nature. I at least didn’t get that side of him, which I always inform him whenever he says that I got his looks. I do wish at times that he could be more professional, especially because he holds the entire town in his chunky little hands. I avoided a reply with a cool smile, stacking some paperwork neatly on my desk to clearly show him my priorities, but I couldn’t help but laugh when I heard an impatient tap of his foot. I relented the news to him, I really couldn’t help it at this point.
“Well pop, you know ol’ Romana south in Forget-Me-Not, right?” He scuttled back to his desk and leaned forward with his elbows plopping themselves on the desk with his hands scrunching up his face; the picture of a student ready for a lecture. I saw him nod at the familiar name, so I continued.
“Apparently there’s gonna be this huge party on the Santa Romana to celebrate the 10th annual Spring Festival. A whole bunch of guests have been invited, and I’ve been hired to keep order in the place.” I couldn’t help but smile broadly at the old man, who stared enviously at me.
“You get to go on the Santa Romana?!” He shouted, blowing some papers off of his desk in the process.
“I’m gonna be on a boat.” I laughed, thinking about all of the fun that could go on in such a luxurious water palace. Father had every right to be jealous.
“You’re gonna be on a mother fried boat.” Dad pouted, sitting back down in his chair in a huff. Ok, so the boat references were getting kinda annoying.
“So I’ll be gone for three days, I suppose. I’d like to be there bright and early, so I’ll head there a day before to check on everything. I sure hope Mineral Town doesn’t need me.” I thought out loud, grabbing my planner from the drawer next to me and writing several “scribbles” down to keep track of everything. Oh, the possible crimes waiting to be committed.
“Oh silly putty, we will make do just fine in your absence. It’s not like we’ve been raising murderers these past 50 years.” He joked, snorting like a pig as he laughed.
“I don’t know, Popuri is pretty suspicious. Someone could die from an overdose of pink if they aren’t careful!” We started laughing; the pink hair of the Babinski family has been an inside joke between us for years. After Father calmed down a bit, between heavy breaths, he managed to talk again.
“When does your new job start, anyways?” He asked, putting on his reading glasses as he grabbed his pocket calendar.
“Hmm…I believe a week from now would be just right. Spring 4th, a good time for the weather to warm up.” I rubbed my cheek thoughtfully as I did the math, hoping that I wasn’t wrong about today being Winter 28th.
“Sounds like a plan. I’ll ask the town to keep an extra eye out while you’re gone. “ And with that unreassuringly thought in mind, our night conversation was over and we hit the sack.
“Huff…huff…” Father was literally hitting the sack because the mattress wasn’t soft enough, but I digress.
The next morning I received an e-mail from Lady Romana that included a list of all of the invited guests. She mentioned that not all of them would be able to come, but to take note of them anyways. Most of the names were familiar: Grey, Mary, Me, and some others, but I doubt they were interested on going on a boat. Other names I had no idea, and could only assume that they were from the other neighboring towns. Well, the lady did have friends in far places, but she said that she wanted a background check on everyone “just to be safe”.
I sighed, digging into people’s private lives wasn’t exactly one of my hobbies, and it made me feel like my nosy father. Still, it wouldn’t hurt learning who everyone was. I started typing the names into the computer so the basic information would pile up. I saw their state IDs, which included pictures, and noted that none had a criminal record. Can’t say that I felt the need to look farther than that, so I sent my reply to Romana, giving her an all-clear. They looked like a good crowd, so I had no worries. All that was left was keeping them happy so there wouldn’t be any conflicts. A nice, Spring day on a ship like that?
How hard could that be?

| Survive: a Cruise Line Horror I would like to thank everyone for their support; it has encouraged the fast updates. UM. I also really hope I kept everyone in character. - Spoiler:
The Second Chapter: POV Harris
Spring 3rd
I had traveled quite a good distance on foot, and the view of the afternoon sun shimmering down on the Forget-Me-Not farms was absolutely gorgeous. A part of me wished that Aja could have been here to see this with me, but those feelings should’ve been left in the past. It ached to feel them come up again. There was a good five minute pause as I let out a sigh of relief; I had been walking with my luggage since early morning, and my feet hurt! Shivering as the cold spring wind brushed against the back of my neck, I started my trek down the extremely long slope.
“Could you move faster? I’ve seen Van walk faster than you.” A dark voice chided behind me as I jumped in surprise, nearly slipping down the slope in the process. A part of me gripped the ground so I wouldn’t tumble down like humpty dumpty, while the other held my heart so it wouldn’t jump out of my throat in terror. Getting up and dusting myself off, I looked up in surprise at the face.
“Whew, Takakura. You shouldn’t scare me like that.” I tried to play the victim, but he merely scowled at me as if to say ‘Man Up’ and shook his head in a grim manner. I heard a bell ringing and took note of a small brown calf trailing behind him; only being led by a thin piece of rope. I guessed it was for the new farmer in the area.
“Looks like Jack has had a lot of success money wise.” I complimented at an attempt to start a conversation with the ol’ coot. It was a bit difficult matching Takakura’s pace, especially because he was used to these kinds of hikes. Didn’t he do this every day? It had to be hard on him. “A lot like his old man, eh?” I grinned, elbowing this old man playfully.
“…strange.” I heard him mumble, though I didn’t catch the rest of what he said. I couldn’t help but think it was directed at me, but we were on good terms, and he wasn’t one to insult so bluntly.
“Excuse me?” I asked, wondering if I misheard him.
“It’s all very strange.” He repeated, looking at me with sad eyes while he continued. “One of the cows died recently.” He grumbled, looking behind at the young calf pitifully. Its only response was a flick of its cute, floppy ears.
“T-that’s a shame. Was it old? Sick?” I asked, extremely curious. I was surprised to see a bit of Takakura’s sensitive side, but it was to be expected; the farm was all he had left in the world. We had just stopped at the entrance at the said farm, and it didn’t seem like Takakura wanted to talk much longer.
“That’s the strange part. It was perfectly healthy, and not much over a year old.” He sighed, as if he expected more bad omens to come as he limped away with the new calf. With that ominous thought in mind, suddenly I was all by myself. Perhaps I should go to the inn around now…?
“Oi! Mia, look out!” A sharp, urgent voice called behind me that caught my attention like fireworks going off in the dining room.
“Goddess, Chase! I would if my feet would listen to me!” A girl screamed right from the direction of the slope with the boy tumbling down after her in an attempt to stop her. However, she was much too fast as she bounded across the bridge, attempting to slow down bit by bit, but the rush was simply too much. It was a shame, because I had been a bit out of it from that trip, and I really wasn’t ready for some more fast movement—OOOOOF!
Seconds later I found myself with an unbearable headache, and somehow, this skinny little thing knocked me right into the ground. The girl that crashed into me looked like she was in pain…but she was laughing.
“Out of all of the people to run into like this…a police officer! Ahh, my luck sucks!” She laughed good heartedly, but didn’t seem to fazed by my sparkling badge or the angry red flush growing on my cheeks.
“Oh, Officer! Are you alright?” The shaggy black haired man asked, helping me up. To be honest, my backside hurt too, but I wasn’t about to complain. Not in front of this girl that clearly lacked respect for authority.
“I’m…fine.” I muttered, glaring at the two punk kids. Or were they adults? I couldn’t tell; they sure weren’t acting like adults.
“Chaaaaase, what about your poor, injured wife?” The girl, who I recognized as Mia, started faking a pout (I knew this because of experience with my father). Even though she said “wife”, they looked like they could’ve been distant relatives. They had the same black hair, after all. But maybe it was like that saying, ‘the longer you’re with someone, the more you look like them’.
Chase turned to face her and appeared indifferent, but with a hint of a smile in the corner of his lips he helped her up. “You were laughing. Naturally you should be ok.” He retorted, probably feeling a need to punish her for her childish actions but just couldn’t do it.
“Wha…wha…well, you’re acting like you love Harris more than you love me.” Mia grumbled, catching me off guard because she knew my name even though we’ve hardly talked. Chase and I exchanged…interesting glances, but mostly sighed in annoyance.
“Sorry to interrupt your lover’s quarrel, you two.” I coughed, inwardly laughing at the blush rising on their cheeks. “But you should be more careful. What if a poor child was in your way?” I scolded, eyeing the two apprehensively.
They looked at each other as if they were using their telepathic powers to figure out what the best reply would be. It was kind of unnerving, actually. Especially since I was the third wheel here.
Chase pointed at Mia with a blank expression and very bluntly stated— “She’d jump over it.” which made Mia explode in a fit of annoying giggles. Ugh, these darn kids, playing mind games with me.
“No more running down that hill; there’s a sign at the top that clearly says—“ I tried to reinforce my authority over them, but Mia interrupted me. Again.
“Quote, ‘Run at your own peril’ unquote. Nothing that says that it’s against the law to run down the hill.” She even used the finger motions, completely mocking me.
“Oh! Oh! Hey! Hi everyone!” A very cheerful and upbeat voice came out of nowhere, but when I looked up I quickly understood why. The girl it belonged to was sitting in a tree, grinning like the frickin Cheshire Cat. Chase and Mia seemed to know her, and smiled welcomingly as she let herself slip out of the branches with her soft blonde hair bobbing up and down. Great, I wasn’t expecting a party out of this.
“Hey Genna, did you manage to get a room at the Inn?” I saw Chase answer pleasantly, which reminded me that there was a ‘Genna’ somewhere on that list that Romana gave me.
“Oh yes! It’s all so very exciting! I tried to get on the ship earlier but they wouldn’t let me in. Busy busy, setting up. A lot like bees.” She exclaimed, clasping her hands together like an angel in prayer.
“I could’ve told you that only the staff was allowed on the ship.” Mia replied, shaking her head at the girl’s obliviousness. “Is Wess with you?” She asked, which was around the time that I started to tune out of the conversation. I was too busy sulking because no one was noticing me—for shame!
“Oh! Harris! I didn’t see you there! What’s up?” She asked, snapping me back to reality.
Figures.
“I’m here to keep the peace on the ship, but it looks like the peace needs to be kept here even more.” I raised an eyebrow at Mia and watched as she wrapped her arms around Chase; as if that was going to protect her. She had this infuriating coy smile directed right at me, but I managed to keep my cool. Somehow.
Genna froze as if she was just getting a vague hint that something happened while she wasn’t here, and Chase merely coughed in the uncomfortable silence. I swear, these guys must’ve expected no one to keep law and order around here.
“Uh…Mia, wanna go see who else is going on the cruise?” Chase finally asked, after all of my glaring finally seemed to pay off. Before the girl could give an appropriate reply, she was being dragged off to who knows where.
“…well Officer Harris, I have…uh…stuff to do.” Genna had this weird nervous laugh as she slowly backed away from me, which I thought was odd, but couldn’t think much else of it. Maybe the badge has some power after all.
I sighed when I picked up my luggage again, making my back even lower than Quasimodo, and it felt like it was time for a break. The inn sounded like a good place to go, but from the looks of things it had to be packed…
Unless I made a super mad dramatic dash to the inn before anyone else comes in! So I ran like a freak and burst through the doors, only to find a line of 3 people in front of me. Unfortunately for me, there was a lovey-dovey couple right at the desk, and a young woman watching them in disgust. The disappointment must’ve shown on my face, because the dark eyed girl right in front of me gave me a smirk.
“Well, I’d tell those two to get a room, but it looks like they’re already getting one.” Her voice trailed off with an awkward laugh before sighing; humor fail. I only sighed with her since it meant more vacant rooms taken from us.
“This place is pretty small, Officer. I’d say you’re out of luck if you’re waiting in line for a room.” The girl, who looked oddly familiar turned to glare at the obnoxious couple, as if she was using her mind powers to make them stop being so…obnoxious.
“D-Dylan! Stop making faces. I’m trying to have a serious conversation with the innkeeper here.” The man up front complained, though I didn’t think he had much of a right too. Not with a pretty girl like that next to him.
“But you’re so stiff, silly. You’re making it more seriousish and businessy than it is.” The lovey-dovey girl laughed, practically squishing him against the desk in a playful manner.
The strange girl and I exchanged glances, inwardly laughing at the couple though we couldn’t help but make fun of them a bit.
“Get out. While you can.” She ordered, who I’m sure was feeling a bit of dread of what she was going to listen to exactly in the middle of the night.
“Good luck, soldier.” I mock saluted her and she did the same, and since there was no point staying here I snuck out while I could. I was extremely weary by now, and I was starting to run out of options. Where would I be able to stay the night? Well, there was one place where I was bound to be (somewhat) welcome.
I sighed, knocking on the door rather impatiently as the cold spring air stung at my cheeks. Hearing no answer from the other side of the door, I decided that shouting would be my next best bet.
“Taaaakakurrrraaa!” I called happily as the door finally opened, he looked at me and grunted, before closing it right in my face.
“Go away.”
“But you owe me.” I frowned, starting to get annoyed again. Goodness, today just wasn’t my day. First was that long walk, then those depressing thoughts, then getting knocked over by that insane girl, then being the third wheel, the inn was completely full, and I couldn’t stay on the ship because only…the…staff…
“Oh wait, I’m staff.” I thought out loud, sensing an odd look from Takakura on the other side of the door. “Nevermind, Takakura!” I laughed as I gathered my belongings again with a spring in my step. I got to see the boat early! How exciting! All I had to do was show some ID and they directed me to my room. Thank the Harvest Goddess! Finally, nap time awaits!

of course Genna and Wess are far apart after having a child, but Wess ain't here. D8 bad daddy.

Wess will stay home with Grace, so Genna can go have a break.
Adamaris could be the killer. She has that schizophrenic personality, "Incendia", whose a total psycho. But only when Adamaris forgets to take her pills. o.e
She couldn't bring herself to kill Gabe though. :X

But I thought, well, she doesn't like authority. So maybe she wanted to be a little more annoying/rebellious than usual.
