Ch. 3 Problems at home
Two years. That's all it took. Was Two years. Two years since her mother had passed. Two years since Hope had learned that her mother wasn't coming back. Two years. That was the deadline. Those two years, were hardest on Dan. He struggled to find work. He struggled to Keep a good atmosphere inside the house. He struggled to keep his good mood. Two years. That's all it took. Until the once happy, united family, would brake.
Hope was cooking dinner with the help of her Aunt Cathy who was visiting. Hope had taken on alot of responcability the past year in taking care of her 2-year-old brother and the household chores as well as preparing meals. With the gelp of her aunt of course, who had come from washington to help out around the house. Dan hadn't been home latley. He was desprite to find a job so he could get his life back on track. Dan had been smoking, and drinking alot latley. Then when he would, he's instantly regret it. Hope was extemly confused with all of this. No matter how many times she asked. "where's daddy?" "when is daddy coming home?' all the answer she'd get was complete silence. A week later, still no dan. the cops were called to look for him and posters were up everywhere. It was decided by the family tht Hope and Max would live with heir aunt
