Checking In

Jake took a breath, and opened the door to the Inn
He looked around, shivering from the water Ciera had splashed onto him
"Hello? may I check in a room please" He yelled from the counter
He wasn't having a good first day here, and he was close to going back to his Aunt's house, but he decided to stay. He hated his Aunt more than anything.

Red hopped hastily down the stairs, mind drifting to no particular thought.
At the bottom, she caught a glimpse of colour on her way out. On closer examination, she found it to be a new resident.
"Oh! Hello there." Red greeted with a smile. "Are you new here?" she continued.

Jake stared at the ground, and nodded
"Do you work here?" He said, in a low voice, while biting his cheeks

"Huh? No, I don't work here... I just live here" Red answered.
"Hey, your clothes... They're wet... What happened?" Red asked, notioning her gaze to the wet fabric.

An INN? Who lives in an Inn? Jake thought
"Long story..well not really but still.."
Jake took a breath and said
"This girl who was supposedly magical....Ciera I think was her name...threw water at me.."

"Huh? Ciera did it?... Well, I didn't see that coming." Red thought for a moment, wondering if Ciera had much a good reason for splashing water all over a new resident.
"Oh, about the magic thing... She's pretty much the Harvest Princess" Red shrugged, hoping that the newcomer would be just as lost with the new magic as she was.

"Yeah, there's alot of magic going on here... I myself don't know how to use it, nor do I want to learn." Red thought for a moment, then added "Do you use magic?"

"No, I didnt even know magic even existed"
Jake frowned and blinked
"And whats a harvest princess? "

Red smiled, happy someone finally felt as lost as she was.
"Ciera is the Daughter of the Harvest Goddess... So yeah, she's a common user of magic" Red explained.

"Oh! I don't suppose you've met the Harvest Goddess either... I certainly haven't." She finished with a sigh.

*magicly appears*
Alright! My first day on a new job!
*jumps up and down*
I was so tired of working on that counsel now I can get a real job!
*smiles happily, then notices someone new is her and becomes quiet and face turns red with embarisment.*
I'm sorry I'm late to work. --Can I help you?

*walks inside the inn* "Kitty, red, it's been so long!" (btw ciera's been gon a year, she's alive now.)

kazumi ran down the steps. her hair was pulled up into a pony tail. "red!' she called. kazumi was working there today. she stopped at the bottem of the steps and blinked, noticing jake. "hello." she said smiling and walking behind the counter. she frowned at kitty. "you're late." she said sighing. it had also been a year since kazumi had come back. she had gotten rid of her powers (except healing) she she could stay on earth with her freinds. she also had given up the title as the future moon goddess. she wanted to live and die like anyone else. she was now 50% mortail, and 50% magical being.

"Hey kazume."

kazumi smiled. "hi ciera." she said.

"so it looks like we both made it back." *smiles*

"yep." ^^ she said in her cute giggly voice.

"so did you see nick yet?"

"u mean today?" "no, i havent'."

"No i mean since you've returned."

"yes, i've seen him." "it seems like something's been bothering him latly though."

"Maybe you should ask him, he only opens up to you."

kazumi smiled. "ok, later then." she turned back to jake. "room for one?" she asked poiltly. 'i'll get uo some frsh clothes and wash the wet ones."

"well i better get out of here me and him got a bad start."

"by ciera!" kazumi waved

"bye." *runs out of the inn*

"please follow me." kazumi said heading for the stairs
