The Swordsman and the Smith [BH - Adamaris and Kitty]

Today was Kitty's day off from motherhood, well half day off to be correct. Quinn was sleeping in her car seat while Kitty was looking through the shelves for a book to read. It had been a long time before Kitty got to do this, so she was enjoying herself. "I could read The Almost Moon," she said thinking aloud, looking at the purple paperback book. "Or perhaps something more like The Prince." There were so many books for her to read, but if she didn't choose quickly her reading time would be all used up. Quinn probably was going to wake up then and start crying for food.

Adamaris walked into the library; she had her day off from work today; having worked at a Greenery and as a secretary wasn't too bad; but she couldn't work like some people did. The fact that some people had children scared her; that was the job that made her afraid the most. She couldn't be a mom...

Adamaris arrived in front of a shelf. Reading up on disease; so she could assist Gabe and his work force when they asked about someone's file; she would know what the disease was. Sitting adjacent from one woman; she began to read quietly.

Finally Kitty picked to read Araibian Nights, but she knew she'd only get through one of the many stories or half of one. So she picked to read a familiar story in it 'Aladin.' She had heard of it before and had a pretty good idea what it was about, so it was probably the best choice for her with Quinn here. She took a seat and began read, eventually another person came down at her table to read as well.

She read a lot, but Quinn started to get fussy. "Quinn..." she moaned saddened that her reading time was cut short. Maybe the bottle of formula she packed would do the trick. Carefully she picked up her daughter. "I'm sorry," she said to the woman sitting across from her.
